Here is a video I made with and without my resonators on. I have a Borla Pro-xs (part # listed in video). There was zero drone with the resonators. Couldn't hear it back there unless you got on it, but hated that air noise.
You can here it without them while accelerating, but once you get to...
That is what I went through. The place I had mine done at included paint correction in the price of the application. It looks better than the day I bought it. But, like @troutspinner, this is my first vehicle with a ceramic coat and I just don’t know how they hold up long term. I got the...
I have to do intelligibility test for fire alarms at work. I could break that out and see what I get. I would assume you would get an error message if the module controlling everything went out.
Got my truck back yesterday. Had the Gtechniq Ultra put on. Looks so good. The pictures don’t do it justice. Also got my Husky flaps in, but the shop I had the work done at told me to wait a weak before putting them on.
Check out this thread. There are a lot of good comments in that one, and multiple other threads.

For those of you with the noise canceling that works properly, can you tell me if there is a discernible noise that comes from the speaker. I honestly don’t hear a thing, and it makes me wonder if it even works. Thank you
Oh I loved my 40 series on my ‘13! I just put the Borla Pro-XS on this truck, and the resonators will be getting removed tomorrow. I don’t like that air whoosh sound the make either, makes it sound almost like an exhaust leak to me.
Those are nicer than any I’ve looked at for sure. Even with the cotton liner, it would still make me nervous sitting on my black paint. If I still had my silver truck I’d be all over that one.
Maybe you could negotiate a shed for the kids toys on Black Friday.
Idk if this matters to you, but I’ve read the sport doesn’t have heated/power fold mirrors. I didn’t look at them personally, but you may keep this in the back of your mind. One thing I would change would be power fold mirrors instead of tow mirrors.
They've held up great. So did the ones in my '13 Laramie. Like with any leather you just have to keep them conditioned. I really like the chemical guys leather products. No shiny, oily look and still smells like leather.
I had HIDs in my projectors (high and low beams) on my gen4. They were amazing, especially the way they lit up the ditches on both sides of the road. The lights on my Longhorn are just as good. I was very impressed with the output and field of view. I do a lot of driving in rural areas, and good...
I don’t know how much I would trust that list. The only one in my area that has been “recognized for excellence” has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The next closest one with the banner is 91 miles away.
I've honestly thought about it, because I'm in the same boat. Im worried about the cover floating in the wind and scratching the paint. Maybe if it was in my shop, but not outside. I'm currently working on convincing my wife she needs to let me build a car port.
It does say you have to follow the recommended maintenance in the manual, but I do that anyway. I've had vehicles that the warranty paid for itself easily, and others I never used it on. I like the fact I get a full refund if I don't use it is nice, and if I do I don't think buying the $1300...
