Yesterday I climbed up under my dash to remove some GPS/cellular tracking BS the dealer installs on all the new vehicles they sell. I am pretty pissed that some hacker got up in there and cut open the harness and added 6 or 7 scotch-lock type connectors to various wires behind the kick panel...
I may be the outlier here, having had two 2025 rebels. the first had no surging, better power and better MPG. Every time I drive the new one, slight disappointment with no real hope for resolution. hope Ram resolves and we can all have trucks we love. I am trying.
so I've hit the 300 mile mark today, now laying into the throttle much harder. It seems this truck is noticeably slower than the one I had prior. So, hesitating and has less outright power, the first truck would push you back in the seat, this one does not. I'll give it a few hundred more miles...

update... TSB 18-071-24

This morning on first start of the day I (already running remote start) I observed the odometer was flashing. When I arrived to work the mileage had changed but was still flashing. Can't find anything in th manuals explaining what this might be....
under light throttle the newer truck feels like its losing a little power under light acceleration, like throttle valve position changing, or turbo pressure changing, maybe trans acting funny... hard to put a finger on it. I haven't tried anywhere close to full throttle yet as I have not hit 300...
