Was under truck yesterday and noticed one of the bolts that Hellwig supplies to mount the bar to the axle had the head broke off. Luckily I still had factory bolts and used it to replace. Just a fyi for other users to check next time your down there. Could of been a bad bolt.
I am running the Yokohama geolander GO15 AT tire now, 275/65/20 and happy so far. Quieter than the Goodyear duratrac on the highway and they are winter rated as well but I have not used in the snow yet. One downfall I noticed is they hold small stones in the tread.
Lots of choices out there....decide how much lift you want and go from there. I just leveled my front end using bilstein shocks which cost me $340 and I upgraded to the mopar uca at $130 for the pair. Install labor charge came to $440 which included alignment. So $910 Canadian labor and taxes...
Looking to do similar install with the Baja lights in tow hook location...how did you mount the lights? I'm thinking of using the S1 lights. Any close up pics.
I just installed the Yokohama GO15 AT in size 275/65/20 and happy so far but it's early. They are quieter than the Duratrac, look good. Just adding another opinion.
Just bought same tire a few days ago but in a 275/65/20. Hopefully like you say they are quieter than the Duratrac. Plan to install them in a day or two.
These do look nice on the truck but they have there flaws, other members have filled the openings with expanding foam and one guy fabricated some plastic to cover the opening which looked really good.
