Finally got my refund, on Tuesday. I have to believe that they actually refunded "ahead of" the dispute. Regardless... It's a hell of a way to do business. Hah! That's a heck of an idea! (Don't feel bad. I misread a FB meme yesterday, about "new boots", and thought it said "new boobs".)

I'm interested in this too. Curious if we need the "anti-flicker" modules, as well. (I have AlfaOBD, so I may be able to change my settings. Just wondering if it's worth the trouble, for the long term, to do that instead of using the modules.)

Success! Added my trailer brake controller. The hardest part was finding the "ITBM" line in the dropdown. Making the changes was quite simple. I also got the security system to operate, but it was not exactly right, so I backed it out. Will revisit it when I have a bit more time. Thanks all!

I have cut coils on several of my cars, with very good results. The key is, you can't get carried away, and you have to do it right. Use a cutoff wheel or a sharp saw. Try to impart minimum heat into the wire. (Don't EVER use a torch. It will ruin the spring.) A lot of people will argue against...

It would appear that it varies by model. I've got a Bighorn Sport, and the only ambient lighting I'm aware of is in the overhead console, shining down on the center console, in front of the HVAC controls. Works just fine, even at full intensity. (I don't even notice it when I'm driving.)
