I was gonna say "Flowmaster with turn-downs", but yeah... either way. That's why it makes your eyeballs vibrate.
Once that's connected back to the stock resonators (the ones in the back) it should tame the "thrum" quite a bit.
Last weekend I towed a 6X10 blunt nose box trailer about 100 miles. (Empty, one way.)
It knocked my average "estimated" MPG down to 12.X in fairly short order. Average stayed there until I refilled the tank, and reset. Using manual calculation, I got 13 and change, on that tank. I normally get...
I respectfully disagree. I like my backup camera, and I wish I had blind spot detection, but you can keep all the rest of the "nanny-ware".
I have no use for lane departure alarms (or correction) or adaptive cruise control, unless they can be easily defeated.
I actually drive my vehicles.
I...
Konrad nailed it, on both counts.
Just Android and Windows. (If you can find a windows emulator that runs on iPad, it might work, but I'm not suggesting that. Can't vouch for its operation, since I don't speak i-language.)
The required hardware is a bluetooth OBD2 adapter of some sort, and the...
I have 3.92s, and the best mileage I've seen (calculated at fill-up) was 16.9. The worst was in the 13s.
The worst included a lot of idling and stop-start driving on the farm. The best included a lot of steady speed driving (and a lighter foot, once the "novelty" of the Flowmaster wore off. :D...
Good info here. I learned something.
When I switched into 4WD-Auto, I was able to disable the Stability Control and Traction Control completely, by holding the switch down - probably about five seconds.
Once I got to about 40 MPH, ESC would re-enable itself. When I slowed down, it would...
I have a 2019 Big Horn Sport, 4x4. I have held the traction control button for quite a few seconds and never got to the "second stage" whatever that is. I have to assume that mine is not equipped.
Most everyone in this thread is only talking about upgrading speakers.
There are so many "truck functions" integrated into the stock headunit, that replacing it will likely cause you to lose a great deal of functionality. (At least with the stock 8.4" and 12" headunits. Not sure about any "base"...
Yeah... That's one thing that really chaps my azz about FCA. The needed hardware is there (ignoring the hood switch) but you have to pay their service department's rates (usually at a 1 hour minimum, even if it only takes ten minutes) to get this stuff turned on. My selling dealer wanted like...
My A/C is not stellar, by any means. Not even as good as my 2005 Silverado that I traded, but it was able to keep up with upper 90s(F) temps in Atlanta. So I suppose it's okay.
Haven't had any of the mechanical, brake, ANC, or water leak issues that I have been reading about.
I went to their website and found absolutely nothing that would apply to mine. (Hope they do a kit for the 4x4 as well.)
Did I miss something? Or did you just call and talk with them?
Thanks!
Mine has been quite solid other than the wonky Uconnect system. Android Auto kind of works when it wants. Drops in and out. Quite strange. But since the Bluetooth works reliably, it's not a huge deal.
Turning off the truck and then restarting quickly tends to freak out the radio.
Sometimes...
I did not align mine, afterwards. Several thousand miles later, it still handles fine with no odd tire wear.
In theory, it might tend to cause a bit higher (measured) caster reading, and cause a tiny increase in steering effort. In reality, it doesn't really make a difference.
Hah! I'm lovin' it!
The first truck my dad ever owned was a '72 D100 long bed, that he purchased new. He literally drove it forever. (Still owned it when he passed, in 1988.)
I liked it so much that I bought a '78 D150 short bed. I'd probably still own that truck, except that I got tired of...
