I've been waiting for bilsteinlifts to get them back in stock there's been a national backorder specifically for the right side. also doing the 6112s on clip 8 with a motofab 1/2 spacer and clayton gladiator rear springs and zone uca
it's giving you the difference you'll see with each package. if you have the orp you're already sitting higher so you'll notice less of an increase in height being as you're already higher. every other lift option compares in the same way with different numbers per brand
i like it, nice deep rumble. it's quieter than i thought it would be from the outside, but under normal acceleration the in cab sound is louder than i thought it would be if that makes sense. was unaware carven had a muffler like this one. I just looked it up though, looks like it would be...
you can't do an aftermarket UCA with the bds 4in kit because its designed to keep the suspension geometry the same as factory by dropping everything. fox makes a 2-3in dcs coilover as well for our trucks. or you can have filthy motorsports get you a custom length set of king coilovers.
truck looks awsome! I've been looking into doing the same with the 6112s, adding 1/2 spacer on top of clip #8 and adding 1inch spacer in the rear with either icon uca or a zone uca. was going bds originally but there's been several bds uca failures on here so staying away from them. what size...
does this make any sense? the 6112s on clip 8 provide 2.6 inches of lift on non rebel/orp trucks which nets 2 inches on rebels. fox 3 inch lift coilovers lift a non rebel 3 inches but still only 2 inches on a rebel. if 2.6 inches equals 2 inch rebel how does 3 inch also equal only 2 inches...
the rebel is 1in higher, im pretty sure almost half of that is from the factory 33s. and another 0.6 inches is from the suspension. if the rebel suspension alone added 1 inch then a rebel would sit higher than 1in because the 33s add height as well. could be wrong but I think thats how it is.
were these bds ucas installed my shops or self installed. if installed at a shop ide assume they were tightened with an impact gun like everything else at a shop. I've never seen a shop actually use torque specs to tighten anything. Ball joints are around 50lb torque spec i believe and using...
im aware, you mentioned using the 6112s though and said they were too stiff. you're not going to get a softer ride switching out factory suspension. fox coilovers actually have 100lb more spring ratio than factory which most people say stiffens the ride. aftermarket coilovers are for...
