There's a thread on this and it seems to be the drive shaft for the 4wd . There's a video of someone's and It seems the shaft very briefly engages and jerks on startups. Mine does the same noise
Traditionally after market ucas aren't usually needed with any drop bracket lifts because by dropping the diff and lowering the lower control arm brackets with the drop bracket you are keeping the factory geometry the same.
Typically with lifted trucks the caster is more around +4-5 range. You can't follow factory specs if it's lifted because nothing is factory anymore. A good offroad or truck shop will be your best bet for a proper lifted alignment
I also am running 2 of the same. I actually removed the bracket to try to reverse it but the inside of the bracket has grooves so it only fits 1 way and the wording was upside down so I put it back but they function perfectly it's just a cosmetic thing.
If you set them to clip 8 with a 1/2in spacer our front ends should be the same depending on tire size. You had mentioned adding a 1.5in and 2in spacer to the 6112s though which would be way too high that's where my comments were focused. You would be fine with the 1/2in
The lift numbers are different with the 6112s for non orp and orp trucks. Either way you shouldn't go more than 3.5 over stock. On setting 8 the 6112s only give orp trucks 2in of lift. I added the half in spacer so I gained 2.5in more than my already 1in from having the orp which is 3.5in...
Recently did the same with methods and 35x12x18 trail grapplers and I found the ride better at lower psi. I originally put them at door sticker specs which was 55 front 45 rear even though custom offsets shipped them with 35psi. Ended up doing 40 all around and it's way better than the 55 was
No issues at all. The 6112s come with a brake line relocator bracket there's plenty of slack. The 1/2in spacer is a top hat style it just sits on top of the assembly im really glad i added the extra half inch i think it makes a big difference in appearance
