The spacer isn't part of the lift Bilstein is talking about. 5100's accomodate the stock spring and the 1" lifted orp spring. 0-1"

I just bought an RC unit last week and had no issues afterwards with parksense. I did have to update the unit so maybe they did update the firmware.
