My setup is as follows: RL 3.5" kit w/ Bilsteins
Front: RL 's Top hat spacer plus Stock Spring on 's at Setting #4 w/ the RL 3.5" kits UCA's (did no use kits Preload Sapcer).
Rear: RL's 2" Spring Spacer on Stock Springs, w/ Bilstein 5160's (which are good for up to a 2" lift).
My...
That's exactly what this thread is about. I have an RL 3.5" kit. Removed the preload spacer from the kit, and I run 5100's at #4 with the RL Kits 2" tophat spacer w/ UCA's. You could go to #5 for a little more front end lift. I have 1" of rake. If you use the Motofab 2.5" and 5100's I'd use...
Question for anyone that has tried the 5100's on setting #4 and #5. I am currently running #4 but after 1500 miles, they have broken in and are nowhere near as firm as just after install which I liked alot. Does #5 feel firmer in the sense of less side to side bounce through compressions? I...
After 1500 miles on the setup, the truck feels close to stock. I would really prefer a firmer tune on the 5100's but still good. Definitely gonna add a helliwig swaybar for more stability. Can be bouncy, but no different than it was stock. I Still do like it a lot. I'd only change from this...
RL 3.5" SST Kit with Bilsteins 5100's set at #4 in front and 5160's in the Rear, Stock Black wheels and 35 x 12.5r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Added 1/4" Rough Country wheel spacers to the front to get RG's to clear the UCA's....had rubbing issues on banked cornering.
My 35x12.5 ridge graps only rubbed on the frontside on the upper control arms....more so on the driver side than the passenger. Never even noticed it by feeling in the first week until I checked and there was rub marks. Only time it severely rubbed was over 40mph on a banked on/off ramp...
If I had to rate it, 0 being stock vs 100 being Feel after install....I'd Say 20-30ish... Still love it, as I have no issues with the feel/performance of my truck with the ReadyLift 3.5" SST kit. Almost tempted to try #5 but if I go nose high I'd be pissed. LOL. Down the Road I may go with the...
Everything I noticed is honestly gone and the truck feels pretty stock. When I first swapped shocks/struts...all side to side bounce was gone when u hit a bump or hole with one wheel. Truck stayed level through corners, felt planted... Truck would dip to one side then recover as opposed to...
