thanks guys, your suggestion worked. It looks like I have software version 18.23.29. Is this the most current for the 8.4N? I can’t imagine it is. It’s hasn’t been up dated since it’s nov 2018 build date

I’ve looked in every menu for my Uconnect 8.4N software version but cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know where to find it? I’ve finally caved and scheduled an appt with the dealer to get it updated. I’ve got too many quirks that are driving me nuts. Then I recently received an update...

That said, I think the calculator you’re using is the problem. The difference between 275/55/20 (stock) and 285/55/20 is negligible and would result in less than a 1mph variance at 70mph. Not worth the expense of buying a programmer

Measure the actual tire. Just because a calculator tells you what the size should be, doesn’t mean that’s what it actually is. Mine was off almost 1-1/4” from calculator to actual.

What’s the difference between the Vitesse Motorsports throttle control and the Pedal Commander. Why is the Pedal Commander more than $100 more expensive than the Vitesse? I’d love to hear from owners of the Vitesse (particularly if the install was as easy as the pedal commander)

I have the same problem and ironically I it also started happening in my 2014 Grand Cherokee too (where it never did before). This leads me to believe a change was made in the iOS software that Uconnect hasn’t reacted to with a software update of their own.

Sounds like one of those things you’re better off ordering with the truck. I vowed that my next vehicle would have that option, but I couldn’t pass on the 19’ I got. I guess I’ll just deal.

Does anyone know if adaptive cruise functionality can be added to the DT RAM using AlphaOBD. If so what other parts would be required in addition to the steering wheel switch? Front camera?

Bull Ring is the way to go. They make a low profile stake pocket mounting ring that pushes nicely out of the way when not in use. They are available in chrome or dark chrome. They also come with a router bit to nicely cut out the plastic stake pocket covers that come from the factory...

I just installed the lift on on my 5’7” bed. I can’t imagine what difference would not allow the kit to work with the 6’ bed. The suspension setup is exactly the same

8.4 non-nav doesn’t have themes

I received an update USB drive that didn’t work. I haven’t had a chance to go back to the dealer. My Uconnect system in my Jeep got updates at least twice a year. To think the ram DTs have been out 1-1/2 years with little or no updates is pretty shocking to me.

I purchased the RC speedometer calibration tool to recalibrate my tire size. The instructions say to plug into laptop to configure to your vehicle. When I plug it into a laptop nothing happens and I just get a screen on the tool that says “ignition off? Y or N”? Any suggestions?
