Admittedly I haven’t used it much other than putting it in 8th and letting it do what it will but now I’m wondering if mine is not working right. I cannot down shift the transmission with the - button. Sitting still it will cycle through the numbers with the - button though. Probably need to...
The +/- is simply a gear limiter, the transmission will shift on its own up to the highest gear you have selected. Stated in another way you cannot manually control the transmission with the switches, just limit the highest gear.
The extra 1-2 mpg isn’t worth it to me. I say give me the option to permanently deactivate it and I’d be happy. I had this go bad on my last truck (GMC) and the entire top of the engine and all emissions to include the cat converters had to be replaced. Thank God for warranty, when it all...
Nothing wrong with the F-150 the way I see it, it all comes down to your wants/needs. I’m a GMC convert, GMC isn’t junk but the 2019 Ram just has so much more to offer to me.
Right there with you. Why some ask? Mine has a noticeable transition coming out of MDS mode and makes a weird noise as the other 4 cylinders light off. For those who know aircraft it sounds like an APU with bad igniters and lights off late. My guess is that there is unburnt fuel in the...
IMO, a spacer is a spacer and any one of them being either a preload spacer or strut spacer will hold up just fine. UCAs on the other hand, I think you get what you pay for - especially when it’s my family involved.
Like ksn240 asked, do you have the ORP? If so the 2-2 1/2 strut spacer WILL...
No ride issues here, seems to be just as smooth as ever. With a strut spacer, there should be zero ride difference as the strut/spring set up remains the same compression ratio, it’s just been extended. With a spring spacer, the ride shouldn’t change enough for one to notice but if you have a...
Right there with you! If I wanted gas mileage I would have bought a Prius, then started drinking fu-fu coffee, bottled water, and went vegan. I’m quite happy with my coffee black, water from the tap, a medium rare Porterhouse, and a truck that I love to drive and performs like a powerhouse at...
The ORP is a full 1” factory lift and I would think a non ORP truck with 2” spacers would have enough travel to be safe in the ball joint.
However, anyone else who has an ORP and has installed the Readylift 2” Leveling kit and UCAs, please check your yoke clearance at full droop. Mine will...
Installed my Readylift leveling kit with UCAs today. I took a couple pictures at full articulation along the way.
My truck has the ORP so I’m aleady at what I believe is pretty close to maximum angle for the ball joint. This is stock at maximum articulation.
This picture is with the strut...
My .02 from neighboring Ohio...
Like Edwards stated you don’t “need” either differential but if you need to choose one over the other because they are on the lot and based on your use, I would take the anti-spin over the e locker. I didn’t choose the e locker, it was just part of the off road...
I ordered the Podiums and they wouldn’t fit the 5th gen body style and had to swap them for the Predators. Maybe now N-Fab has the Podiums in for the new body style? If you haven’t received them yet you might give them a call to confirm.
I’ve yet to put many highway miles on it, primarily just to work and back (10 miles each way) and am getting 14-15mpg. I also tend to accelerate a little faster than I should too but can’t help it, sounds good and feels like a sports car.
Driving daily on the Ohio pot hole laden roads.... pretty freaking smooth compared to my 2015 GMC SLT. Haven’t driven a non ORP so I can’t compare those two.
I called Ready lift yesterday to order the leveling kit and arms.... back ordered:eek:
Apparently enough of you guys already ordered and drained their supply. Should ship NLT next week. Guess I’ll pout til then.
With the ORP and 2” of leveling (3” total), I’ll take the new UCA’s as insurance. Having popped a ball joint in a UCA before, the cost to repair/tow will be more than the investment. Assuming the UCA fails of course...
