It was not quite THAT short......That was back in July and the part # was correct but I don't think they had shipped many. Even when I shifted the cover far enough to the rear to eliminate the tail gate gap the frame kept the tailgate from closing properly.....all in all not engineered while at...
I bought a Truxedo Pro-X15 cover for my 2019 with a 6'4" bed...….it does NOT fit....too short .....have a choice......massive gap at front or back or smaller gap at both front AND back. Obliviously it does not keep the bed dry. Several weeks of run around from manufacturer wanting me to measure...
I drove through very heavy rain and some standing water before my grommets were fixed and that is when i had water in the rear of the cabin.....i dont think simply setting in the rain or driving in light rain would allow enough water in to be noticed but water under pressure is a different story
is it just me or are all these water issues on LIMITED models?
I know when I looked at in stock units at a dealership that only the Limited models had incorrectly installed drain grommets.....in fact ALL of them did.
Dan1989........Safford Ram of Winchester VA was the service center that I used.....It is not where I bought my truck. I think I was fortunate to get a very competent tech (Chris) and I know he said he documented what he found.
Dan1989......my front leak was from a inner fender fabrication that was not completely sealed when robotically assembled....tech said it look as if the machine ran out of sealant during the procedure. They sealed it manually and it seems to be working for now....drove through tropical storm on...
UPDATE
I picked my truck up Friday after more than a week at the dealership(2nd trip) trying to fix my leak(S) . I was fortunate to get a very good service tech who was VERY determined to find the issues and fix them. The first was pretty easy since, with the help of the members on this...
I have the Pro X15. ......It looks great BUT it is not a great fit . When installed as instructed it left a 1/3 " gap at the tailgate. When I adjusted it to close the gap the tailgate would not close properly because the frame was too far back. I finally got it to work OK by removing the rubber...
Had the same problem on my 12" ......twice....... the last time I was driving by a Ram dealer and they "reset" the unit with their computer. I was thinking about pulling the Neg battery cable to "reset" the unit but your fuse idea makes much more sense.
My truck will be rusted in 2 years.....unless, of course I do as I have for the past 2 weeks.....keep it in the garage with doors open and fans running and NOT drive it in the rain.

My leak issues are in the rear and front and involve volumes of of water that totally saturate large areas of carpet. It kinda like buying a flood damaged vehicle. I am embarrassed to show anyone my $60k truck. Its a great truck otherwise but there is no excuse for these issues.....maybe...
Dan1989..........thank you very much for your posts. Unfortunately I guess it is true......misery loves company. My truck is usually parked under cover so my moisture problems have all come after driving in heavy rain. I think it is, as you have found, coming from multiple locations so it will...

How did that ProX15 cover fit for you. I did the same thing as you and when I installed it there was a 1/3" gap at the tailgate. When I moved the frame back far enough to closed the gap..... the tailgate would not shut properly since it was contacting the frame. I messed with for a while...
