Does anyone have any more updates on this problem? My truck for the first time this winter started to do the pauses in audio. Temps have been the coldest they been all winter the last couple of days (slightly above zero during the day and below zero at night). The truck sat out in the cold...
If it is the same problem I had just letting the truck sit for a while and turning back on only made the tone go away for a while. It always returned sometimes days later or sometimes many weeks to months later.
Star Case manager is the one that told me the new radio would only fix the tone and not the pauses. My experiences with case managers has not been good. They rarely had a clue what the hell was going on and I felt were fairly useless. I tend to think my pauses will return and I would not be...
Not sure of the part number for the original, but I have a copy of the invoice for when they installed the radio. Part number I believe is Z8307655AI. They originally told me new radio would only stop the tone and not the intermittent pauses in audio. Hopefully they are wrong on this.
I was expecting my intermittent pauses to return this fall with the drops in temperature. So far I am happy to report no pauses. Could this be because I had a new radio put in for the random tone I was getting blasting over my speakers? I was the first one to report the tone on this forum and...
If it is the same problem as mine in the video; you will need a new radio. That is the only thing that got the tone to go away. I was told it was not software related. There was no service bulletin or TSB at the time that dealt with this exact issue. Had to get engineering involved to figure...
Guys with this problem you need a new radio. The tone has not returned since the new radio was installed. I was told it was not the parksense it was the radio.
I hope you are right Bobcat4956 about the recalls, but I was just told today by my case manager for the second time that the AC is designed to have a temperature difference between the drivers and passengers side vents. Kind of hard to believe, but she said she talked to corporate and...
Joshrebel19 let us know if Ram or your dealer finds anything. Funny my case manager just called again today and said they are closing my case for vibration since the dealer says vibration is normal and Ram does not have any service bulletins out for this issue. Nice way for Ram to wash their...
Good luck with this issue. Several threads on this. I get the vibration in the gas pedal and sometimes floor board. I have had it come and go since this winter. Ram will tell you to take it in. The dealerships tell you either they can't feel it ( I feel it as soon as I drive off the lot) or...
My case manager called and left message saying she contacted corporate and she was told the truck is designed to have a 8 degree temperature spread between passanger and drivers side. I don't know if she is right or if she was smoking something in a van down by the river. I do know my AC has...
The AC run around at the dealerships is a joke. Was recently told to bring my truck back in by Ram for the AC and other issues I have had. I told my case manager I did not want to bring it in because there is no service bulletin that addresses the 8 degree temperature spread from drivers side...
I have the vibration in the gas pedal as well. I bought truck in September and sometime this winter developed the problem. I believe it is tire related, but can't get my dealer to do a simple tire balance. At first they said they could not replicate it, now they are telling me it is normal...
Welcome to the long line of dealership frustration. I would get the manager involved and see if it helps. If you continue to get the run around try to find a new dealer. I have had issues like you at mine. I have another appointment at mine on Wednesday to fix scratches they put in my truck...
Good luck getting them to apply the update too. Many can't get the dealer to do the update even though the build date of their truck falls within dates listed on bulletin. I hope Ram is studying up and this thread. Beginning to think I need to dump ice down my pants on every summer drive...
Just brought my truck in for this today. AC not getting that cold. Dealer said I have a "slightly loose hose" and recharged AC. Was hard to test out there "fix" because it was only 60 today. I think I need the update since my truck was built in July 2018 but they would not do it. Just...
