4WD is ideal, but with traction control BLD I never needed it on my Gen 4. However, that is the type of situation— non 4WD— that the e-locker made sense.
This in an honest question and is designed to help inform those planning on ordering a new Ram. I understand in some rare situations a locker or traditional limited slip differential is helpful, but for 99% of 4x4 owners, the option will never be used and the standard Brake Limited Differential...
I've had it on flat ground at over 70 and in tail winds over 75. When I watch the real time mpg readout, I don’t see much change when the eco goes on at speed.

Filled up again today. 20.9 mpg doing the math (dash showed 21.8). Since new, 20.7 mpg (dash shows 21.2). 100% of this fill was my 60 mile round trip commute which involves highway (60%), city (25%) and gravel roads (15%). I’m driving for mileage, so keeping at the speed limit, avoiding...
Looks like a great quality safe. Please show us the pixs installed. I’ve got a bench seat, and have been using this one from Cabela's for a 1911: Lock box $29.95. It’s small but tough. The 1911 fits perfect.

That depends. If you delete the ORP, but get 3.92 gears, the answer is minimal—just the weight might be .25 mpg or less. Weight impacts city driving more than highway. If you get 3.21s, you can expect a 1 to 2 mpg gain. It all adds up over the long run. Also consider what the truck is used...
I’m looking at a cover. I’ve owned lots of trucks over the years, three had toppers, and this would be my first cover. ReTrax is the Cadillac of tonneau covers, based on my reasearch.
