Welcome to the forum from a neighbor near Holt. Wax annually. Wash the bird droppings off daily. In the winter, I run mine through a wash that does the undercarriage every two weeks. I’m and a pretty long dirt and gravel road. My 2012 looked great after six years...no rust spots, paint was...
Sorry I can't help with the lift issue, but I do want to say "congratulations on the new truck," Yours is the first Crew Cab with 6.4" bed I have seen. If they would have been available for order, I might have been tempted, although I seldom have passengers in the back--just "stuff."
Welcome! I've really enjoyed driving my Laramie. Its a very comfortable truck. I needed the bench seat, so the Laramie Longhorn was not an option. If you like or can get by with the bucket seats, go with the Longhorn and get the best interior in the business!
In a previous post, I ranted about the poor quality of the WeatherTech floor covers...I stand by that review--not up to WeatherTech standards.
However, I installed their mud-flaps this week, and am pleased with the product. For approximately $85 (w/tax), the four flaps fit great, were easy to...
I’m on a heavily traveled rural road and have not have this issue. Have you pulled up to a garage door or wall and checked to ensure they are not too high?
Agreed, the wheels look fantastic. I have running boards for function, as my wife is short. The look is OK, but the best pictures are from without them. If you can get by without, great.
Welcome to the two-tone club. So far, not many of us out here. I really like your combination. Great looking truck. Anxious to see it with the Gatorbacks. I almost got those, but went with WeatherTech. I hope I didn’t make a mistake. The next couple of years will tell.
Agreed. Only Mopar offers the lifetime warranty. Sure, after market companies provide extended coverage, but this is true bumper to bumper with low deductibles.
I would add that my 2012 Ram was the best vehicle I have ever owned.
After dealer induced heartburn and heartache, I’m enjoying my Ram more each time I drive it. Nearly every trip finds the truck hauling a load of some kind—from straw and hay to paneling and tractor parts. The tailgate fob button that I thought was a “gadget” is actually handy. The sound...
I ended up with a soft cover (Gator tri-fold) as it is so light and easy to completely remove and attach. Where we live, vandalized covers are not an issue at this time, so the Lifetime warranty plus light weight was an acceptable compromise.
my extremes are 1 mpg optimistic and .2 the other way, with .6 off average. That’s likely due to our ethanol. Overall much better accuracy than my Gen 4 Ram that was always off 10%.
