There is some truth to this. Waxing provides an opportunity to identify chips that need attention & touch up, makes the truck look great, and adds 3 mpg by letting the truck cut through the wind. O.K., the last one is not true.

Another trip of 250 miles today is supporting this rating. The truck is comfortable and competent.
It should be repaireable for about $100 at a wheel restoration shop. I’ve seen some amazingly good repairs. Just be sure to see their work before committing.
$25-30k. Yikes. For that price you could get a great tow trailer with no worries about exceeding payload capacity.

Enjoyed the annual Poosey Conservation area fall trail drive today. Nothing radical, but got to legitimately use the low range for something other than farm work. The drive is about 1 hour of slow paced service roads.

Don’t fail to notify the NHTSA. Safety issues should not be left only to the dealer and manufacture.

Did they give you a printout or something showing it as unavailable? If not, call another dealer and see what they say. If it’s on the build website it should be available. You might even call Ramdirctly. It could be a glitch on the ordering end.
