Your not accidentally hitting the manual shift button on the steering wheel? If you touched that on accident then you could get stuck in 1st. Really low probability that two different trucks you have had have the same issue when nobody else is having that issue.

Get rid of the STP filter and put a Mopar or Wix filter in it and your problem will most likely be gone.

I am probably on my 4th oil change with the Amsoil EA15K50 filter and Amsoil XL 5W-20 oil and have never had any issues at all with it.

Probably have about $300 or so into it. Tape is holding up fine, the bolts do most of the holding.

Most likely no damage, I have gotten that message before to. At least you now know what to look for in the dash..

Did your air suspension say you were overloaded? That happens at about 2k lbs.
