That's ridiculous..... Perhaps you should change dealers .... They are well aware that there is a problem with the brakes both backing up/growling and moving forward/squealing... there is supposedly a new brake pad out that will fix the issues
Yes ...to me it sounds like blowing across the top of a pop bottle. I've heard it twice with a strong crosswind coming into the driver's door..... I helped Mine by adjusting the doors a couple milimeters inward...
Yes mine does something similar and it seems that the temperature and or humidity also goes up temporarily... if I turn the AC off and turn it back on or change it from Max to normal or change it from recirc to no recirc it seems to stop..... also seems to be more wind noise around the right...
Somewhere on here I've seen a post by guy who completely disassembled his backseat, took the trim panels off and had his wife drive him around while manipulating the air conditioner controls to make the rear cabin vents open or close.... He believed the culprit was the rear cabin...
I think the variation in Grain pattern of my seats says that it's genuine leather as well as the smell when I first bought it... I don't know about the door panels and dash but the seats are definitely leather
I got some dry lubricant at lowes and sprayed every plastic to plastic and plastic to rubber and plastic to metal surface I could find in the console, Dash, door trim, headliner Etc..... also had my console cover replaced by the dealer because of a maddening squeak.... I spent hours doing this...
I think you should definitely do the rear of the cab and possibly the roof.... what noise I hear entering the cab seems to come from the rear ....I live in the south and it seems I can feel heat coming through the roof ..... I don't think sound deadener would help that much with heat ...
Not exactly... on mine the fan still blows but the air gets warmer and more humid feeling and then this stops in 30-45 seconds.....there is a tsb about AC. I don't know if it addresses this or not
They quoted me $100 a wheel to ceramic coat my 22s.... I bought ceramic coat off Amazon for $50 and did it myself in an afternoon.....2 Coats..... looks good now I don't know if it will hold up ..... The biggest job is getting the wheels absolutely clean before applying the ceramic coat
Check for a big difference in the right and left vent temperature..... This is one of the things the dealer looks for as justification to work on the AC
There is a thread with factory specs on here somewhere....including temp performance at various ambient temperatures... you might also look at posts for blender door adjustment
Looks like a ding....I cant believe how careless some people are...I always park out by myself usually with a tree or curb on one side to minimize damage from other cars.....and still somebody (usually a woman) parks very close to me
