Nice set up and great looking truck.
With my new truck I'm changing up my detailing game. Two bucket method, air dry with a blower, quality microfiber towels, foam cannon with Chemical guys snow foam. The coating I went with is Sonax for the paint and Gtechniq C5 for the wheels. I also plan...
Thanks OP for your feedback. I am looking to add some lighting and can't fit a 20" light bar behind the lower grille (sport) without hacking it up and saw those Rough Country 6" ones and thought they would help some. Bummed to hear they didn't work out .
Is there a way to keep the driving lights on when the high beams are on ? Having horrible night vision there is just never enough light when I'm traveling to our rural cabin, and I don't really want to add a light bar.
On the old 3rd Gen Rams there was something called a Bright Box available...
Someone asked for a picture.
It's just another Delmonico Red Ram. I love this color but didn't realize it was going to be this popular. Had i known, i probably would have went with a different one.

No plans for add on's. Just had the windows tinted but that is about it. I see plenty of things that look interesting to do but have too many other hobbies wanting my attention and money. Just going to drive it.
Same situation, wife wanted a crossover...and liked her previous Cadillac. I think I've broken her of that...her next choice is a Buick TourX
Funny thing. I'm a designer in the automotive industry. Last model I worked on was the interior on GM '21 full size trucks. Let's just say the Ram...
First off, coming from an '05 Ram 2500 Cummins. Wife has a '17 Cadillac XT5 so I have some type of modern vehicle to compare things to.
Overall, absolutely love this truck. I was on the fence both, buying a new one and switching from the 2500 diesel to the 1500 gasser. The ride is incredible...
Thanks for the link...you saved me $34. I saw the black letters and thought , cool, I should do that...then saw the work involved to get the grille out. I just can't do it on my 2 month old truck. Did you check the other link in that thread ? What that guy is doing with headlights is awesome.
So, does anyone have measurements on how far each brand hang down ?
I have Weather Techs and they just don't seem long enough, maybe for the rear, but definitely not the front.
The Husky look to be about the same length. So what are the lengths for the Dura and Gatorbacks ?
What else is...
I have been more then happy with my Weather Tech products thru the years. I just bought their mats and splash guards. I think they look great, the fit is perfect, but the coverage from the splash guards suck. They need to be at least another 1.5" longer.
I am now in the search for replacements...
So coming from two different second gens, and a third gen. They all seem to have the same issue, wearing out front suspension components rather quickly. Also, wearing out front axle u-joints. I wonder how these 5th gens are going to be ? Anyone have one with really high mileage ? How do things...
