I'm not sure which engine you have, but I'm guessing it's the 5.7 Hemi. If you have 500lbs of passengers, cargo, and towing equipment (hitch, etc.) in your truck, given your sticker, that leaves you about 8,700lbs of towing capacity, assuming a 13% tongue weight on your trailer. You'll want a...
I drove on a bunch of flat land recently on a family vacation, and I was surprised how much time my truck spent in MDS mode... 4k on the clock, Adaptive Cruise On. It was really nice, and hardly noticeable. Pretty sure I could only tell because with the wife and kids in the truck, I had the...
Yeah, this is why some of us who don't need the 2nd memory position have set that to be just like the 1st memory position, only the mirrors are lower - right where we want them. While not automatic like the tilting mirror feature, it's a good workaround.

That's interesting. Did you accelerate quickly to a speed which would trigger Aero mode?
If I lower the truck while sitting in it, 100% of the time it returns to NRH when I hit 15mph, and then Aero somewhere north of 60mph.
I LOVE the air suspension for loading and unloading... used it on a...
Yeah, that's basically it... we get some smaller snow storms, but occasionally we get upwards of 24" in one storm. Most are 5-10" though.
On my last truck, I had an under-cover tool box, so I bought a hitch-mounted carrier to haul my snow thrower in. I also had a BAK Revolver X2 cover on the...
Go ahead and drive a new RAM, see if the A/C performance on that particular truck is OK to you.
Some of us need ice-cold A/C, others are perfectly content with 50-55 degree vent temps.

They answered for me, although when I'm truly at idle (engine on, truck stopped), the A/C seems to be OK. I'm pretty sure my truck goes into recirc mode when stopped, whether the engine is on or not.
I'd love to 100% shut off recirc mode. I almost (99.9%) never want it to go into recirc.

I installed my T3 last week, and after install, even with the front bulkhead seal in place, you can see daylight on both sides where the bed rails are higher than the bulkhead rail.
Still, after a gully washer last night, there didn't seem to be much, if any, water in the bed. Granted, I...
Check the alignment of the door related to the cab. My passenger-side rear door was flush with the cab, but the driver's side rear door stuck out a bit. It also made a different noise when closing, but I never noticed it rebound or bounce or anything.
After the dealer realigned the door, it...
I love it on my Limited! For me, it was one of the "killer apps" the new RAM had over the Ford.
Mine has the issue where if you lower via the key fob, most of the time it won't remember to raise itself back up when you start driving, but 2 quick flicks of the toggle and she's right back up...
My red/yellow sticker says 1,320lbs, and I've got a pretty loaded-up Limited. There was a thread on here a couple of months ago where the poster said they put 4,020lbs in the bed, and made it home. IIRC, it was a 10-mile trek across town, and he said that 55-mph lane changes were interesting...
I can't remember if I posted this story on here or not, but anyway, here goes.
Last week I was driving to pick up my kids from daycare, and I had the front windows rolled down. I heard what sounded like a chirping/cricket-type noise, like a wheel bearing but louder. Kind of like an F-150 with...
That's what Ford did with their FX4 (off-road tires/skid plates/unique shocks) package... for 2009-2014, it was a separate trim level. In 2015, it became an option package available on most trim levels. Also IIRC, it was not available on their Limited trim level.
With the special interior...
And that right there, my friend, is why they offer it. Sounds to me like RAM's mentality is, If you like the Saddle/Black, go get a Longhorn. If you like I/F, get a Limited. If you like Black, get either.

Yep. I'm accident prone. Also, I rollerbladed all day, every day in college. Because of that, I have 2 bad knees. From working out too rigorously, I have a bad shoulder. Car accidents and sports injuries caused a bad back. On top of all that, my left hip is acting up, tinnitus in both ears...
Oh yeah, it's pure laziness on the part of the manufacturers. The EPA only has so many testing facilities and testers to go around, so they do about 15% of new vehicles each year, according to reports I've read.
I think it IS false advertising, but with the convoluted rules of the EPA, it's...
Wow, mine isn't that bad... it's just a "bad back" from a few nasty car accidents and being fat.
I find my back stiffens up on longer drives, so switching from heat to cool and back every 20-30 minutes really helps with back fatigue.
-John
That's because you have 3.92 gears. As it's been discussed before, RAM only certifies certain cab/bed/engine/drivetrain combinations, and if you look at window stickers, there's no difference in the rated fuel economy for 3.21 versus 3.92 trucks, whereas in the real world, it makes sense that...
I think the I/F interior looks darned good! It was towards the top of the "must have" list of options, especially because it was $0 cost. I love the interior of my truck. I drove 2 RAMs, both Billet Silver. One with the black interior, one with the I/F. I much prefer the I/F, and to me it...
Oh, it's been disgraceful, for sure! I was so miffed when my new truck's seat back didn't cool, even in winter time (I overheat quite easily, and use heated/cooled seats on longer drives to alleviate back pain). I ended up installing the kit in my truck and doing a writeup on my web site for...
