By any chance is the heated steering wheel icon in your "Controls" app on the touchscreen? On my truck, that's where it is. I haven't noticed it under "Apps".

I would guess that MDS is active on 10-15% of my driving. I have gotten my truck to upshift and accelerate (albeit slowly) without kicking back into 8-cylinder mode.

Dang, I wish my Limited had this feature. Most days I end up lowering the truck with the toggle while parking. My knees are so bad these days that the entry/exit height level combined with power boards is the perfect height for me to hobble up into my truck.
If given the chance, I would much...
I just checked mine... trade-in value (KBB) is roughly $45,000. (MSRP was $70,000 and IIRC, I paid $60,000 for it) I wonder how many miles were on the ones you've seen for low 30s prices? You also have to not only look at the MSRP, but discount it by 15% or so on average, in order to suss out...
Put me in the "me too" list - I'd LOVE a set of Rebel take-offs, or really any take-offs with the ORP Falkens on them. I priced out wheels/tires on tirerack and got close to $2,000. Ugh.

I didn't. I left it alone and then got rear-ended soon after, and they had just had a van or something in with the same paint code, so they used a little bit of the leftover paint to do mine.
-John
Nope, it sure doesn't! It's got some touch-up paint on the rear bumper from a parking lot no-note-leaver and the whole rear end got tweaked by a <10mph rear-end collision a couple months ago.
But no, no dings (yet). And the kids (and grandma) know not to play in/near/around our vehicles -...
Yep - this is what my wife and I use in our vehicles, and it does a darn fine job of protecting leather seats!
I have the tan ones for my truck, black ones for hers (so they match the vehicle's leather seat color).
-John
Yep - that's what I've got - silver w/ indigo/frost. It's a really nice color combo. I got my windows tinted, and it looks even better IMHO :D
Enjoy your new ride!

I think it's speed-related. Mine will stay on indefinitely when I'm sitting still (I use it at lights a lot - "How close is that car behind me?"), and at low speeds (I'm guessing under 10mph). At higher speeds, yeah, it's only on for 10 or so seconds. Great for checking on trailer...
This is what I experienced too... towing my 7x14 enclosed dual axle V-nose trailer (United XLMTV for those that care), with an 850lb motorcycle in it. I could tell I needed more drop in my drop bar than what I had because my previous truck (a 2015 F-150) squatted a couple of inches, making the...
Oooh, purty! AND, your truck is the same color as mine - thanks for the preview of what my truck would look like (ok, I have the 22s, but close!).
-John
Dang, I've been keeping mine at 38psi (sticker in the door jamb says 36 psi F/R)... guess I'll just have to let them drop down with the temps. Currently I'm at 5,400 miles (rotated at 5,000), and they looked OK last time I checked.
I'm alright with them wearing fast... like others said, speeds...
There are a lot of threads on this already, but IMHO, I'd say it's worth every penny for the ride quality, ease of towing and trailer connection (drop the truck, back under the tongue, raise back up). It's also great for entry/exit if you have bad knees like me, and load-leveling.

OK, so after owning my truck for 4.5 months and not driving at night, I drove it last night to a friend of mine's house about a mile away. My my, those headlights are bright! They seemed a good 20+% brighter than my 2015 F-150 headlights, which were also LED. I couldn't tell if the...
LOL, I had no idea the new RAM had the "tailgate ajar" warning screen until I was taking the 2nd truck on a 2nd test drive... and the dealer guy who put their plate on it didn't latch it right. I was pleased to see it, and closing it firmly (or with gusto, if you prefer) made the warning go...
You guys make me want to take my truck out tonight after dark! I've only had it 4.5 months and I don't think I've ever driven it at night, so I have no idea how bright the headlights are.

I just saw TFL Truck's "Least and Most Safe Trucks" video and came right here to search for the answer as to why June of 2019 is the differentiator between Good and Marginal LED lighting.
Guess we'll never know. Perhaps it has to do with incorporating the active air dam on Limited trucks built...
