Yep - this is what my wife and I use in our vehicles, and it does a darn fine job of protecting leather seats! I have the tan ones for my truck, black ones for hers (so they match the vehicle's leather seat color). -John

I think it's speed-related. Mine will stay on indefinitely when I'm sitting still (I use it at lights a lot - "How close is that car behind me?"), and at low speeds (I'm guessing under 10mph). At higher speeds, yeah, it's only on for 10 or so seconds. Great for checking on trailer...

There are a lot of threads on this already, but IMHO, I'd say it's worth every penny for the ride quality, ease of towing and trailer connection (drop the truck, back under the tongue, raise back up). It's also great for entry/exit if you have bad knees like me, and load-leveling. -John
