Interesting... even WITH RAM Boxes, your payload is higher than mine, and our trucks are pretty close equipment-wise. I have eTorque and the factory bed step, but almost the same otherwise.

1500 miles later and mine still goofs once in a while - but only if I lower the air suspension using the key fob. If I use the toggle, it works properly 100% of the time. With the key fob, it's like 1/3rd of the time that it'll raise itself. I just go a hundred feet and hit the toggle up, or...

My lie-o-meter currently reads 17.4, but I've seen as high as 18.2. Currently at about 1,550 miles on the odometer. Compared to my last truck, this one is about .5 mpgs higher, and not even broken in yet! (same commute, temps, etc. as old truck)

This is quite interesting. I have had BAK Revolver covers on my last 2 trucks, and after a couple of years the felt on the underside comes unglued, and on my last one, the vinyl started separating from the aluminum underneath. Plus, they're heavy (90lbs).

Oh, another thing I haven't seen mentioned about MDS... FCA doesn't advertise it. In all the hours I spent researching RAM 1500s, not once did I read that MDS was a feature.
It's like the eTorque badging... there isn't any.

I can't usually tell when MDS kicks in, but sometimes I'll hear a slightly different exhaust note or feel the engine change its tone, if that makes sense. Very much unobtrusive, and if I am not paying attention for the MDS on/off transition, I don't even notice it. I didn't even know my truck...

Well, I have a 4" drop bar for my 7x14 enclosed trailer, 7k GVWR, and that worked fine with my F-150. BUT, with my new RAM w/air suspension, I'll need a 6" drop bar to compensate for the AS compensating for the squat... so there's that.
I'd ask someone at your work, or purchase one of those...
Where I drive, if you ain't first, you're last! In actuality, quick starts come in handy, and yet there's so much idling at lights. Then, if you want to tow over 8k lbs, the 3.92s are needed... and now you see why my truck has the 3.92s and eTorque :D
