Long shot, but I wonder if the rear brakes are dragging a bit on some of these trucks. Mine too make the sound when I back up and I’m not even on the brake. Could explain some of the really poor MPG posts?
My truck was built in June and I have the horrible brake issue. When I had my truck in about a month ago they told me it was normal. Service departments are absolutely worthless.
I'm all for a "performance" air filter if the stock one is ready to be replaced. Paper filters can't be cleaned obviously, and the synthetic ones can be. That's really the only added benefit. No one in the world is going to notice an increase in performance by changing their air filter from a...
There is absolutely no way those "headers" give that much of a gain. Short tube headers are a waste of money and won't provide much of anything over stock.
The Pulsar appears to be the only option at this point. I'd have to see real world performance/MPG increases for me to pull the trigger. Throttle response is great, and would definitely make the truck feel faster, but if that's all it does then it's not worth $500 IMO. MPG claims you have to...
HP Tuners doesn't have support for the 2019's yet (according to their website). It's also $249 for them to unlock your PCM, $89 for the smart access cable, and another $300 in credits to unlock the PCM and TCM to even start tuning it. That is of course if you own the software/hardware like I do...
I've noticed a noise in mine too. It's not horrible but there's definitely something there. I plan on bringing it up when I take my truck in for other issues.
Bringing this back up as I too am having an issue. I have not had to use the A/C just yet since I live in Iowa, but I have my heat on with the vents usually set to floor/defrost. I was messing with the different modes the other day on my way home and it definitely changes sounds when the...
I used to tow my 3500 lb Camaro on a 1800 lb trailer behind my 2004 Buick Rainier 5.3L. It had absolutely no issues and had zero sway because weight on the trailer was setup correctly. Will be towing the same setup behind the Ram and won't be using a WDH either.
You will be fine with what...
Mine has the USB plugs in the rear but no inverter. There's just a "blank" where it should have been. My truck was built in July and from what I gather it was not supposed to come with it. I thought about adding a 12v plug to the blank since I imagine I can just tap into something under the...
