I installed mine myself last weekend. Was pretty straightforward and did not take that long. Kind of nerve wracking pulling the radio/hvac bezel off but outside of that I had no issues. My truck goes in next Tuesday for some work and will have it flashed for the controller then.
I am anxious to see how the Ram pulls our 26' boat out of the water. When I had my 2003 1500HD Silverado, I had to use 4wd occasionally as the rear tires would "hop" a bit. The tires were practically new as well. With my 2500 Suburban I could keep it in 2WD without any issues. Obviously the...
I understand that but what makes the can in this thread better than any others?
I have a $40 eBay can on my 800 HP Camaro. I made my own lines for it and am still in it for under $100. I at one time had a $200 catch can on it and it didn't perform any better than my current one.
I was just...
Simple solution for those that didn't receive them is to order a different can. What they charge for catch cans is ridiculous anyway. UPR and Billet Technologies both make a more affordable can for the Ram. Or you could piece your own together for even cheaper.
Awesome. I am going to install mine then as well. Hopefully I can have my dealer flash it quick when I take the truck in for the recalls and my new center console lid.
What's your wheel specs? I am trying to decide if I want to just order wheels and keep the stock Falkens, or get a complete wheel/tire package. Thanks.
I assume you installed it yourself and just had the dealer program it? I was planning to install mine but was told the dealer will charge the same amount whether they install it or not. If I can find a dealer to flash it for $50 though that would be awesome.
It’s starting to get warmer here in Iowa but I haven’t been able to drive my truck for two weeks as it’s getting fixed after hitting a deer. I’m sitting at 14.5 mpg with it since December though so I am hoping to see that number go up as the fuel changes and temp increases. My drive is 90%...
My truck won't let me turn everything off if in 2WD. In any other mode, I can hold the button for 5 seconds and it turns everything off. Kind of annoying if you want to have fun.
I've subscribed to this guys' YouTube channel. He has some decent real world testing with the Pulsar. In his opinion, it's done absolutely nothing for MPG.
My setup is below and I really like it.
