Just placed my order through WholesaleMopar.com. It came to $126.55 shipped. I checked a few other sites and this was the cheapest shipping quote ($13.78) to get the parts to me in Iowa. Will get everything installed as soon as I receive it. I have to take the truck in for a few issues...
Speaking with a tuner buddy of mine, who tunes my turbo Camaro, he said that he generally sees 25-30 rwhp with a custom tune using HPTuners. He hasn't tuned any Hemi trucks newer than 2016 though. If the Pulsar does really add that much RWHP then I see it being a benefit to the average person...
My salesman followed me to the gas station and filled it up for me before I drove it home. Two years ago we bought my wife a new Hyundai Tucson Sport and the dealer filled the tank as well. From what I have seen around here, it's a dealer thing.
One of my 6 speed Camaro's used to wheel hop horribly at the track and I attributed it to the tires and stock suspension. A few suspension tweaks and a tire change eliminated the hop.
You must really like to leave stoplights hard, lol. Try a launch in Auto 4wd and see what that does.
I've always been a diehard GM fan (hence the screenname) but am not brand loyal by any means. Up until this point, I have driven early 2000's GM trucks and SUV's and if I was going to stick with vehicles of that era, I would stay GM no doubt. I had a 2002 Avalanche, 2004 Buick Rainier 5.3...
I loved my Suburban. If it wasn't starting to show signs of rust then I probably would have kept it. I looked for another one but couldn't find anything with decent mileage that they didn't want way too much for.
I was excited to have something that got better MPG than the Suburban but so far...
Congrats. I too am a Chevy guy (hence the screenname) and owned a number of Chevrolet trucks. Recently I sold a 2003 Suburban 2500 with the 8.1L in it. I loved the power, comfort, and size for towing, but it was starting to nickel and dime me. This is the first new truck I have bought as...
Anxious to see how this turns out. I am worried about my dealer giving me crap if I install everything myself since it's a lease, but oh well. I'll just take it to another Ram dealer and have it programmed.
Thanks for the part numbers OP. I about ordered an aftermarket controller to save $300.
Sorry to bring this thread back up, but I have to ask, how do you like the drop in bed liner? I am thinking of going that route instead of a spray in since my truck is leased, and then just removing it before trading it back in.
Mine has done the bang into drive thing once. I have only 500 miles on it and plan on taking it in anyway. I also have an Apple CarPlay issue that needs resolved.
Sorry for bumping this up but I figured this is the place for it. Anyway, I plan on going in on Wednesday to sign a 36 month/15k mile lease on a Big Horn with an MSRP of $53,130. I know no other figures (yet) other than what they told me my monthly payment would be and that's $499.65 with $0...
