Maybe find a dealer in the nation that has great prices. Use those prices to negotiate a build. Order what ya love and use current inventory to gauge what you like.
First new truck, I wouldn’t sacrifice much.

Sometimes a 200 plane ticket and some drive time can save you thousands. My 19 HD ended up saving me 9,500 by going out of state.
Get what you love even if it costs a little more and you’ll be happy with how much you save and how long you keep the truck in return.

Post em up. What did you do to your HD today?
Waiting on an oil filter for the first change. 1400 miles.

Thread revived
Just buy a 19 1500 and a 19 HD Megacab and you’ll be fine
“The HD cab is 1.76” smaller than a 2019 1500 and shares a similar body to a 4th gen so I won’t buy it”
Seriously we are spoiled people
Heeellloooo the 2019 1500s will look older and different and have less...
Haven’t had them on the new ram BUT I have had them for tens of thousands of miles on my other trucks and I highly recommend them.
Normal hybrid tire characteristics. However they do end up getting noisy like any tire. I would get about 40-55k out of a set. I will go back to those or the G2s...
I bet the Speedometer still reads as it did before the tires and the trans I still happy. Not that much bigger of a tire over stock.

Hemi still has the 3.92 sitting on the floor in the box. Need to get the front somehow before I do the gear swap. [emoji2371]

Well there goes my 68 confidence for this updated “generation”
I’m really sorry to hear about this. I wonder what caused it. Didn’t they (RAM FCA) proclaim a large update to the 68?

Forgive me but why so long to get it in? Seems more streamlined than even the gooseneck shank model I had and even lighter at that.

Good looking trucks gents. I’m sitting at 1200 miles now. Almost time for a trade in and an oil change [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

You think this is bad
See the Cummins forum.
You have people who hate the new, disparage what others have and then offer little to no help if and when something pops up. Because they told you so.
This forum is a lot different. It’s all perspective. Take what you see with a grain of salt...
So just remember your airbags are a leveling capability and won’t do a lot with your overall safety per say. The way I see it you have 4 points on the ground carrying you your trailer and your family. Upgrading those might allow for a stiffer sidewall reducing the sway effect.
However I feel...
Check your tires as well. If you’re running a P tires it might be worth it to move to and LT tire. Slight compromise in day to day but firmer with a higher load rating.
