Yeah the hit on the Rams is staggering. I think it has the largest initial depreciation of any truck out there.
Glad you like what you drive. That will help swallow that pill a little easier.

That’s my fault.
I was under the impression we were discussing Ram HDs.
My apologies. I could be completely wrong now lol. Sorry for the confusion.
That said I believe you’ll be able to fit a 285 under your truck. It’s essentially a 33” tire.
Call up discount tire and they should be able...
285/60/20 is the factory tires size and will not rub
275/65/20 will not rub and is a little bigger but slightly more narrow. I haven’t seen these on aftermarket wheels. They look fantastic in my opinion and in some cases are cheaper.

275/65/20 fill the wheel well up nicely and are about 10.8” wide vs the 11.2” wide on the factory tires
Also the 275/65 will be a lot more affordable

Wow I wonder what the plan is for GM and what changes they will attempt to crank out.
If they match the Lincoln styling that would be interesting but there really isn’t a “mid grade” Lincoln. They need an approach that can be tailored and adapted to all trim levels.
Even the tradesmen has the...
3.21 will be the limiting factor
But then again I think the 33s will fit nicely especially with an aggressive offset wheel.
You have selected good options in tires. I don’t have experience with the duratracs but for my money I would go G2 (NITTO Terra Grappler)
I have been through MANY MANY...
Take your time
Carry extra fuel with if you can
Pay attention to your tires (trailer)
Carry a spare (trailer)
Grease your wheel bearing before you leave
Remember some crossings don’t operate 24hours so make sure you plan your arrivals
Truck will be fine
How much weight are you planning...
Mine is cold as ice. Not sure but it might be a common problem with the new design and face lift trucks have in common.

The problem is the service techs are hardly that. They read from a list of pre ordained rules they must follow. This hardly a system of identifying a problem and working actively to find the best solution.
It’s a system of training. They (dealers regardless of manufacturer) with the exception...
Sock/pre filter doesn’t restrict air flow and if it did it would be within a margin of error anyway which is negligible.
The prefilter is essential for extending the life of your dry or oiled filter. It keeps the big stuff out and also keeps your primary filter operating at peak design for...
Yeah there are more than a few of them scattered around the US
So far I have found Genos to be the cheapest. I try not to buy from the dealer.
They quoted me $220 for the same filters I got for 112.00

For folks interested in the part numbers for the filters on the new trucks here you go. Called the ram dealer to verify.
Oil Filter PN: 5083285AA (same since ‘94)
Fuel Filter PN: 68157291AA
Water Separator PN: 68436631AA
Amazon will likely tell you they don’t fit the truck. They are wrong...
Bingo. Running boards, air bags, bed liner (got the bed liner thrown in on the deal without paying for the ram factory up charge). I optioned for things that didn’t want to live without. 3500 vs 2500, trailer tow tech, high output motor, things like that. I like the aftermarket air bag options...
