How does parksense function at stop lights?

never happened to me at a stop light, but i go to a hangar quite often and have to get very close to where i can swipe a proximity card on the door sensor, the entire times i am sitting there, the sensors keep yelling. (large hangar doors are notoriously slow to open, they are even slower when...

Adding extra weight to the truck - need some advice

Good point @Techguy2000 . i did not substract the stock spare tire nor the stock bumpers. added the winch already and the difference between 4 stock vs KO2. rock sliders are definitely out . they are like 300 lbs and I was planning to get the Decked system, but might have to forgo that as well...

Adding extra weight to the truck - need some advice

Lol, that’s what I am afraid of. From what I read, the cub weight is stamped somewhere under the hood, but for the life of me I can’t find a meaningful sticker anywhere there. Might be stamped on the engine itself, need to remove the cover to see closely. I see some of the rigs with similar or...

Adding extra weight to the truck - need some advice

So I have 19' Laramie and planning on building it to a off-rad rig. In hind sight, should have gotten a Rebel. Anywho, that's 18 months too late. Considering various off-road stuff including a Roof Top Tent and a front bumper with Winch mount and other stuff. The more I research into this, I...

Let’s list who’s on BDS lifts and wheel / tire combo.

The dealer just told me today that only way to fit 35/12.5/18 is to get the BDS 4 inch lift or ready lift 3.5 inch. Guess I need to find another shop. I don’t mind the BDS, but with 6 inch between the lift and the tire and then a RTT, I doubt she will fit through the garage door. Sigh.

Extended Warranty Options (FCA vs Other)

I bought one from factory, note the website that says Chrysler factory direct is not the factory one. 8 years 80k miles, around 2000 USD, paying over 2 years without interest

Let’s list who’s on BDS lifts and wheel / tire combo.

From what I have read, anything above 4 makes it too much too heavy especially if you are planning for RTT.

Let’s list who’s on BDS lifts and wheel / tire combo.

So the overlanding and off-roading bug bit me and I am planning to transform my mall crawler to off-road rig. in hindsight I should have bought a rebel.. but o well. currently evaluating the BDS 4" with Fox 2 shocks and later down the road will go with 35 inch tires (BF KO2) with 18 inch wheels...

How are you using your rear seat under-seat storage?

It’s always filled with a lot of crap I don’t need but I feel someday I will need them. Also have husky liners and with that storage open, impossible to use the floor bins

    Spray Wax question?

Turtle wax said is one of their product videos not to use the ceramic coating as a drying aid or put it in every few weeks, it will streak. If you are using the ceramic spray one, do a decon wash, I didn’t clay, but you can, apply a coat, let’s it sure for a day, do another coat, let it cure for...
