PS: I just verified the riser shield part numbers with "World Parts Direct" using the VIN from a 2021 Limited that has the black interior and a storage bin from the factory. This should do the trick. Only downside is that they don't drop-ship. They will get the part from the FCA warehouse...
Yep. We've been getting these reports on our last several Mopar vehicles. The UConnect system definitely sends telemetry back to FCA or whatever their name is this week.
If needed, could you have removed or replaced the wireless charger panel this way? I've been considering adding the wireless charger to our truck. But the instructions describe removing the whole stereo first. Your method appears much simpler and much faster.
I checked all over the web. The best price and quickest delivery for the Riser Shields I need were at www.worldpartsdirect.com. I believe this website is actually the Jupiter Chevy and Dallas CDJR dealerships in Garland, TX which is only about 300 miles from where I live. Even with shipping...
I believe you will need to change settings in the BCM with AlfaOBD or similar. I have done some stuff like this but not on a new Ram. If you fish around the forum you will likely find some directions on how exactly to do it. And just as important, you should find some members that know how to...
I think it kind of depends on what you what a truck for. A Laramie or Limited is really too nice a vehicle to use as a personal work truck, even a light work truck. I think the Long Horn or the Built to Serve models are about right for that plus a few key features. I recently got on the Ram...
Thank you so very much!
Those are the magic words I needed for my search. And that bottom link is one of the exact ones I need in black to match my truck's interior. Now I can finish my mission to make this Laramie exactly like my sweetie wants it.(y)
PS: The ones I need for our...
In the photo below, I need to know what the bottom plastic part is called that is circled in red.
These parts are different in the 5th Gen Rams that come with the rear under seat storage. So to use the OEM version, I need the right plastic pieces. They don't come with the OEM storage...
When I saw this thread, I got excited about adding the cubby as a better place to put a cell phone. But it appears that in the 2021 Laramie, there is no place for the CD player nor the cubby. :(
I added a front camera to our 2019 Charger Scat Pack so my sweetie wouldn't knock the frontend off when she parked with a curb in front of her. I ran the power lead with the camera leads all the way back to the stereo head. I had purchased a harness for this from ZAutomotive when I bought the...
I respect what you are trying to say. But in aggregate, you will find more useful information on a forum like this than anywhere else. Often, the information in official sources is lacking or incomplete compared to we find on forums. On this forum, members like you and I call each other out...
What they "used to be" is important because new trucks with the old packages are still sitting on many lots. Right now (July 2021), there is a lot of confusion out there at the dealerships over this. So a buyer needs to be aware of the changes and what to look for.
I believe you are correct about Group B never having Blind Spot Monitoring. Here's a table showing the changes made:
Here are the groups:
Laramie Level 1 Equipment Package (P1) (A66) - Includes Auto High-Beam Headlamp Control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear...
