3.5” ReadyLift SST with bilstein adjustable ride height front shocks set at position 5 in lieu of RL 2” preload coil spacer, and RL 1.5” top hat spacers on 295/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and stock 20” wheels.
Probably a more interesting or beneficial survey would be to list those upgrades we did that if we had the chance to do over again we wouldn’t due to cost/benefit ratio or other reasons...Maybe save some of our fellow forum members time and money...Just sayin 🤷🏽♂️
Mine would be:
1) If desiring...
Must have:
Bilstein ride height adjustable front shocks
ReadyLift 3.5” SST Lift kit
Dark window tint (must in South Texas)
Full exterior/interior LED bulb replacement
Vitesse Throttle Controller
Honorable mentions:
Borla S-Type Cat-back Exhaust (should probably be on must have, that sound at...
Thanks ESH! Ride is awesome with front adjustable bilsteins vs preload spacer setup. Setting 5 is perfectly level. Setting 4 gives you rake. Either is fine I just like the beastly look setting 5 leveled gives you. Like I said ride quality is same or better than stock, but I unfortunately went...
Had to have 12” screen but most dealers load up the options with 12” screen making eg Laramie ridiculously priced, so got a Lone Star with 12”, Level 2, and the option I never really knew I needed until I had - the Multi-Function Tailgate ((MFT). They kill me how they package trucks. My Lone...
Sorry I probably used the wrong terminology, meant preload “puck” spacer is 2” and top hat is 1.5”. Completed install Friday and shop only used the top hats and adjusted bilsteins down to level 5 for a perfect 3.5” lift/level all around. Trucks dirty now but hoping to clean today and upload...
Read a lot of positive reviews on RL here and on YouTube, etc. Just wanted little more lift, nothing too crazy or aggressive that would alter or compromise the factory suspension/driving dynamics too much, and everything I read/researched about RL just seemed to meet this. Also after discussing...
Same with Vitesse (still hair delay) but the power is insane and I feel more linear vs iDrive. Combined with Borla S-Type it’s a proverbial race truck. Keep it on SP07, tap it through neighborhood and just touch it to get on highway and I’m smoothly and instantly at 80 mph. LOVE IT!
Reason debating the Toyo is it’s only a hair wider than 285/65/20 KO2s but just as light (think although Toyo is wider it’s actually a lb lighter - 62 vs 63 lbs/tire).
Kinda did mine in reverse. Replaced factory tires with 305/55/20 Ridge Grapplers on stock suspension, stock wheels. Got a little rubbing in reverse. Added Bilstein 5100s and set rings at highest level, which guess they say gives 2.6 or so inches of lift. That setting gave me a perfect level (see...
