The main thing is, whatever you buy. The mounting screws are painted under the truck. Get a tap & die set and chase the screws before you install. Getting the paint out of the threads makes installation MUCH easier.

I was going to install bed lights but my Undercover Ultra came with an led strip on one side. It’s battery operated but it lights up the bed under the cover rather well and no wiring involved. I always keep a few Batteries in my console anyway. It’s not the best, but I found it to be sufficient.

The ground cable to the block is too short, causing it to potentially come loose and cause a no start . My dealer did mine a few weeks ago.

Now if you’re just looking for more horsepower, here’s an old ricer trick. Take two coffee cans, paint them silver, and attach them to your tailpipes. Good for 10%. If you paint RS on them in red, you get an additional 5%. This is fully verified by countless 19 year old’s butt dynos.

Going to take a run tonight to check them out. I turned off the factory DRL’s. These guys ARE brighter with no headlights on, and dimmer with the headlights on.
