You know the old saying, desperate times call for desperate measures! I got to the hotel at 1:00 AM and the front desk guy noted that I parked under a light and was all over the truck looking and feeling for dents. I told him sometimes truck guys are weird.
Drove from Austin to OKC Tuesday night. Went NW out of Fort Worth to try and avoid heavy rains and hail storms. Didn’t work, got into so big hail. I finally saw a mid sized oak tree about 40’ off the hwy. no idea how firm (or not) the ground was. Threw it into 4 wheel drive and went anyway...
Installed my new BR Katavi 20x9 wheels with Cooper ATP 275/60/R20 Tires. I liked the Katavi’s first moment I saw them and they’re perfect for the look I wanted.
And I tripped over it when putting LED’s in the third brake light today and face planted in the bed of the truck. But, the cargo bar DID NOT MOVE!. And it entertained the neighbors. NO way to recover and look cool from that one.
Not sure what that means. Many us up have added 12 volts and/or powered usb in the rear of the center console. As I noted, you can steal power from the panel under the steering wheel and put a connector wherever you want it without moving the one on the dash. You’ve asked this question on...
Look up installing USB chargers in the rear on the console on Bighorns. You could steal power from the same location under the steering wheel for you project.
Received my Heininger Hitchmate cargo bar today. I don’t remember whose bar I had on my previous truck but there is no comparison. This thing is stout!
I may actually go with black when my new wheels come in. A little more subtle. But between red and blue. I love blue but I think I’d choose red calipers over blue ones.
