The thing is, the gator back is a mud flap. Those molded ones will rip right off with a little 4 wheeling fun. Been there done that . The gator backs will flex and still be there when I’m done. As noted, to each his own. But I did choose on a reason other than aesthetics .
ALL performance mods if ANY kind can be completely validated by use of the butt dyno. If the butt tells you it’s performing better, that’s all we need to know.
Not sure what model Sun Joe you bought, but the 3501 is not weak. You have to spend some coin to get an electric power washer that actually has any power. And once put together, there’s no setup other than the water hose and tip selection. And plugging it in
I gave a Sun Joe 3501. It cleans the driveway just fine. Light enough to transport so my kids can use it. Brushless motor. The only thing that’s uses gasoline at home is the wife’s SUV. everything else is electric, battery, wood burning or propane. No gas cans anywhere to be found. ;-)
I only installed one, but I could have easily installed more. The main thing the harness does is provide a 5 pin flat harness off of the 7 pin. The 5 pins include ground and backup lights. It prevents you from having to physically tap into the main truck wiring harness and can be easily removed...

Installed the Luyed LED backup light. I went adding a 7 pin to 5 info TEE connector. I wanted the option to NOT have to cut wires in the existing harness. Quick and easy install that way as well
