    Granite crystal metallic thread

This is not the Southwest edition, but it is my Laramie in Granite Crystal with the Chrome Grill.

What did you do to your Ram today???

My RAM hit the 20,000 mile mark, and got an oil change and tire rotation.

First set of aftermarket wheels opinion

Wheel selection is VERY subjective, so you are likely to get a LOT of differing opinions. That said, of the three, I prefer the Mickey Thompson's. :)

    Laramie hoods

I actually really like the sport hood, but didn't get the sport package on mine. I would think it would be relatively easy to find someone willing to switch.

    Towing - Should I ?

Can your truck pull that trailer loaded? Probably. Should you pull it? IMO, no! You have a number of things working against you here. The first is the weight of the trailer, a 32' trailer is a lot for a 1500, though tis one is on the lighter side for the size. Then there is the 3.21 gears, which...

35" D Rated tire anyone with 20" rim??

I have the Geolandar AT G015's and am VERY happy with them. I do have them in a 295/65 r20 though, which is an E rated tire.

    Trailer reverse steering retrofit?

I wouldn't waste the time or money. I have the reverse steering on my 2021 Laramie, and to say it is glitchy is an understatement. When it works, it does a great job, but it almost NEVER works! It worked the first couple times I tried it, but then it started to tell me to calibrate the system...

What did you do to your Ram today???

As silly as it may seem, this is the process I had to go through, and many other posts on the subject reflect this variance in circumferences, so take it as you will. I do not have the self parking, just the parksense proximity sensors, so maybe it is different for the self parking. Other than...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It seems that the number that works is different from truck to truck. You need to keep reducing the number until you find one where everything works. Your number will be lower than my 2705 since yours does not work @ 2695. Try 2685, if it still doesn't work, try 2775, keep trying until...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It looks like I ended up @2705. If I set it to 2706 it stopped working. Try reducing it a bit and then go up or down until you find that highest number that works. It takes some time, but based on mine, and others experience, you are probably very close.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I will look to see what mine is at. I can't remember off the top of my head.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I don't have the Pedal Commander, but the JMS PedalMAX on my ETorque and the difference is night and day. Works wonders!!! Depending on the setting, the lag can be virtually eliminated and even gets a bit wild, full throttle with the slightest press of the pedal, on the highest settings.

    Hemi lack of power

This is all true, but the other other part of the equation (and part of what a Pedal Commander or similar corrects) is the throttle response speed. The stock throttle response is a bit sluggish and has a bit of a delay. You can stomp on the pedal, theoretically opening the throttle body 100%...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Yes and no. When I first made the change, I went with the actual reported tire size (in mm) and the parksense no longer worked. However, the measurement was also not accurate and the speedo was off. I ended up reducing 10mm at a time until the parksense worked again, then increased 1mm at a time...

What did you do to your Ram today???

It will show that graphic when the truck is in gear (if tailgate warning is enabled).

What did you do to your Ram today???

You would think so, however, based on other threads on the subject, The dealer is NOT likely to turn it on for you. It seems that Stelantis has chosen to only activate it when specific (and unrelated) options are purchased. Last I have seen, no one has been able to get it activated at a dealer...

    Wireless CarPlay Adapter Question

The USB ports cannot be changed to turn off with the ignition, only the 12V plug on top of the dash. The USB remain powered for some time after the truck is turned off. Most say 1 hour, though mine seems to stay powered for closer to 2 hours.

What did you do to your Ram today???

My Laramie did not have it activated either. I didn't realize it until I lost ~$2000 of ammunition when the tailgate didn't get closed tightly. I reached my destination, went to get the ammo, and the tailgate was open.... NOOOO ammo. I immediately got AlfaOBD and enabled the tailgate ajar warning!

    Hemi lack of power

I agree, throttle controllers do not do anything for actual power, they simply allow you to access the power instantly (or at least MUCH faster) instead of having a significant delay and slow opening throttle body. That said, I have not driven OP's truck and cannot say there is nothing wrong...

    Hemi lack of power

IME, the throttle response, from the factory, on these trucks is barely adequate. One of the first, and best, purchases I have made for my truck was a throttle controller! Takes only a few minutes to install and REALLY wakes up the HEMI and puts the power where you need it WHEN you want it...
