I have a different one from Amazon in my truck and have been really happy with it. Search -
JGR Auto Trans Shift Lever Knob at Shift Knob for 2019 + Ram Black
It is great quality and only ~$40.
Thank You Jimmy, I am glad you responded. I just went and watched an installation video for the Mopar steps, and I think I can handle that just fine. I was expecting it to be more complicated to wire it up. Looks pretty straight forward and looks like the Mopar are close to the same cost as the...
Thank you. I am leaning toward the Mopar steps. My local dealer has them in stock and could install by the end of the week. It just seems that there are more RAM owners going with the AMP steps (when not installed prior to purchasing the truck). Hopefully someone who added the Mopar steps chimes in.
Thank you for the input! I have AlfaOBD, so I can activate the Mopar boards myself, and have factory integration with UConnect, if I were to install them myself. As for punching through the firewall, not a big issue, I have already installed lights that I wired to a switch mounted below the...
I am looking into getting power running boards and have priced everything out, but can't decide which I should go with. I like the idea of the Factory, Mopar, running boards, but they will cost ~$400 more than the AMP Research boards (including install). The AMP I would install myself, since...
Just had my battery die this evening. Was headed home for the night. Got in, turned the key, and "click". Nothing more. My coworker tried to jump it, but to no avail (I don't think his little Subaru was up to the challenge). Ended up going to AutoZone (only place open, and close, at the time)...
No fault of the AAWireless, but I think I need to do a complete reset and reinstall. I had the dreaded dead battery today and ended up having to do a reset on the radio. Now my AAWireless is not working at all. I think the connection was corrupted somehow. I just cannot get it to connect. I...
The harness attaches to the 7 way on the bumper and then you plug the 5 way into the adapter harness. It is very easy and keeps everything working as it should with no splicing or cutting.
Yup. Super easy. I just cut off all of the un-needed wires from the 5 way harness, zip tied the wires up and out of the way, and done. The most difficult part was removing the little plastic pieces from the truck to cut the holes out. It wasn't hard, but there isn't much room to get a socket on...
The install went well. You will notice that I have some additional (Larger) lights also, but those are on a switch in the cab. I use those for camping, working in the backyard, or other projects after dark, etc. I wanted to do this install so the lights are automatically turned on for backing. I...
There are a lot of options out there and everyone has an opinion. I chose to get the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tires because I tow my TT regularly and do mild off roading when camping, but wanted a less aggressive tread than most A/T tires offer. I have been very happy with them so far. I have...
My AAWireless was finicky at first and took some time for the maker to work out some bugs, but it has now worked flawlessly for several months. I forget that it is even there most days because it is working so seamlessly.
I put the same size tires on my '21 Laramie with a 3" Motofab spacer and still had some rubbing @ full lock on the drivers side. I think you will likely have a decent amount of rubbing with a 2" lift/level and those tires.
