I have been seeing guys say they have to do it quickly or it won't hold the rpms... so get it up to 3000 I believe is the sweet spot quickly and let go in less than a few seconds or it drops off from what I have seen from others testing with the dragy and their jb4s or cat6 tuners..
I have the K&n on my limited HO, was running it for almost two months no issues.. both of cats are bad or melted. the dealership isn't blaming the intake at all they did a software update on the ignition or something they thought would fix the check engine light for the cats but it did not. now...
Yes it happened again after I got to work two weeks ago. wouldn't lock my doors with fob or app. had to use physical key again for drivers doors. none of the other doors would do anything. cleared on its own like hour later... no idea whats going on. both cats are being replaced now too lol
They'd some ignition software update on it as well but if that was the cause it was too late at this point both of the cats need to be replaced next week... just updating others in case you run into this..
Truck has been brought in 3 times now lol. not the best service department near me.. both cats were to be replaced today after waiting for them to come in but they didn't have the techs available today so I will be bringing it back next week... either way not sure why both cats went bad or...
If they could figure out how to fix by all means I would love that! lol. well aware its under warranty and of course I am bringing it to the dealership. came here to ask if others had experienced this issue thats all. I recall seeing at least one other ask about it. sorry to ruffle your...
They did some TSB on it, ignition software update which they though fixed it. drove a mile down the road and still in limp mode and CEL cam back on... bringing it back Thursday... hopefully just a bad harness or sensor... but im sure they didn't even look the first time...
Has anybody on here had issues with their catalytic converters throwing check engine lights.i have 5000 miles on my 1500 and it threw codes P0420 and P0430 today after work.. had an issue at stop light yesterday engine sounded rough and wouldn't accelerate, shut engine off, looked under hood...
I had a local shop do it I believe they use 3M products but this was a few years ago they never gave me the name of whoever they used... probably didn't want me running out and bypassing them for any future stuff... haha
I have a 2025 Limited with the HO. Still running great, definitely adds some get up and go. still noticing the turbo lag though, not instant like my TRX but its more fun to drive now...
I have no codes from the k&n intake on my HO as well, can hear the air flow definitely louder. if you're looking for that BOV Whoosh sound this doesn't add that really. there was a company making BOVs for these but guys were having CEL and issues With them so they removed them from market until...
I've been reading that if guys leave the key fob near or in the truck its draining the batteries... not sure if you do or not but I keep both fobs inside house far away... there's been bad batches of batteries from factory before I had that problem with my 2022 2500, I switch out my battery...
There is a wrap that matches I had to take it to a local shop I think they used 3M this was back in 2020... but my chrome bumpers were wrapped as is other parts..
Not really that far fetched... if I recall when I got my '22 2500 there was a bad batch of batteries from the factory.. I mean crap my wife's '23 Honda pilot had a bad windshield seal from the factory replaced two miles on it... I think we can all agree covid crushed the quality control on all...
