Does that have to be done within a certain time of buying the vehicle? It’s a little unclear.
@RamCares any insight? I can provide my service info via private message.
I just went to the dealer to have mine reflashed yesterday. Took an hour and a half to run the reprogram they said and they charged me an hour and a half labor, $199 an hour, so $300, what a freaking ripoff.
Let me know what you think after some miles. I have the recons and thought the noise wasn’t bad, over 50 there’s some hum, for sure louder than the stock Perellis, I’m at about 10,000 miles on them and 2 rotations and think they’ve gotten louder.
I like them. Have had no issues in rain or the bit of snow we’ve seen, they hum a bit more than I was expecting them to at highway speeds, though it’s not horrible. I have about 10,000 miles on mine so far.
The shop I used I’ve know the owner for years and he’s done work on a few previous vehicles, so I don’t know if I got a bit of a deal or what, either way I was happy.
It rides firmer than factory, but it’s not bad. I still kind of want to get 285/55/22’s to get more sidewall. Been deciding if...
So Tazers DO work for 2022’s? I had thought I read that they didn’t, but it maybe was an old thread and firmware wasn’t out yet.
I have an appointment in April (soonest appt available) with a dealer to try and get mine recalibrated, they said they needed to hook mine up and “scan” to see if it...
I think they will fit, iirc I’ve seen lots of other people on the factory air setup run 305/45/22 and have no issues, with a level there is a ton of extra room. 305/45/22 is only like .7 inches taller than stock, and the width really isn’t much to be worried about IMO.
That’s a 35.24” tall tire, no way would that fit imo on a truck with just a leveling kit, 285/55/22 is a 34.37” tall tire, which I think would be much more manageable. I think that’s why I didn’t go with it. If there was a 305/50/22, maybe.
So currently I have 305/45/22 Nitto Recon Grapplers, I’m happy with them as a tire and think they look great, but the more I see people running 285/55/22’s the more I feel like these 305/45’s look too small.
I have a Readylift 1.5” leveling kit for the front and I don’t think I’ll rub with a...
I would for sure do it again. It’s not that drastic of a difference from stock, but my dad has a 22 Limited as well and I notice a difference between the 2, but now I hate driving his cuz it feels so low to the ground and car-like. Haha.
My only regret is I wish I went a bit taller on tire to...
I have the Readylift 1.5” level kit for the front. No complaints, shop that installed it had no complaints. i did feel that the truck rides a bit rougher now, but part of it could be the tires that were installed at the same time. I didn’t do anything in the rear initially, but I ended up doing...
Interesting, I don’t think mine are bad at low speeds, but noisier at higher speeds. Mine were also out of balance, but I’m pretty sure some weights fell off, as another tire shop I took it to correct made it a point to say it was quite a bit off and no way another shop balanced it to that spec.
