I have that kit on mine, no issues except I thought with that kit it raised it more than 1.5” and it was a tad nose high. So I added rear revel links to bring the rear up a tad and now I think it’s perfect.
If you have front links, you should be able to run a 35. I have 35 (x11.5’s technically) and I only rub in reverse in very certain/specific instances. Not enough for me to care or do anything about the liner.
Oh I agree. I love the no drone. The guy above was saying he was getting drone on the highway. I asked if maybe cuz he had 3.92s that put him higher in the rpm range in the “baritone“ sound Borla has around 1,800-2,000 rpm’s while accelerating or something.
It’s noticeable coming from the 305/45/22. Those rode a bit firmer than the stock tires, these ride firmer than those, but those were just XL rated, these being E rated, I’m not surprised. I was expecting it. It doesn’t make the ride bad, it’s just firmer. If you want to keep a super plush ride...
Forgot to add, am not hearing and rub in drive, but in some circumstances, in reverse I am hearing some rubbing when turning the wheel left. It’s not bad, some time I’ll look more into it and fix it.
Little follow up.
So far I’m really liking them. At low take off speeds with the windows down, they’re a tad more noisy than the Recons, BUT at highway speeds, they’re quieter.
These things are big/heavy. For sure can tell a difference accelerating and maintaining highway speeds. I was...
It wouldn’t surprise me. I’m going to get my speedo recalibrated Tuesday at the dealer. Speedo is off about 2-3 mph depending on the speed. Tested it with a GPS app with the phone 100% disconnected from the truck for accuracy. I have a 33” recal on it already, but since these are 34.6”ish...
It’s not bad at all. I notice it’s a bit more firm than the Nittos, but going from an XL tire to an E rated tire it’s a bit expected. Running about 40psi. So far, honestly I think they’re quieter than the Nittos were. I hear an ever so slight hum on the highway but the Nittos hummed more. We’ll...
Closest thing to “drone” I have is like 1,800-2,000 rpm’s, but I wouldn’t call is a drone, more just a baritone sort of hum, but it’s only while accelerating with a fair amount of throttle, cruising on the highway there is 0 drone and eco mode doesn’t hum at all.
