Just got my Frye kit and so far all the lights have been good EXCEPT for the dome light. First off the bulbs ends are smaller than OEM and just wiggle in there. Yes I can pinch the clips together and maybe get them tight enough to hold the light but I’m looking for more oem fitment. Secondly...
I'm in the same boat as OP I need new tires but cant decide on what AT's to go with. I'm in Colorado and it does snow but its not very deep and I don't go off roading in deep snow/mud. I have been looking at KO's, wildpeaks, and toyo AT's. the Falkens seem to do well all around in snow and...
I just came cross B2fab's website too and they have an axleback system that is reasonably priced. might look into them since it only requires one cut and then it bolts on.
The part number you put is for 3" in and 3" out, I was under the impression stock system was 3" to 2.5". Did you have to weld different diameter pipe on one side?
Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Probably just grab a crate muffler and call it good I was going to go with full catback system but without a tune and getting into that stuff I don't think the performance gains (if any) from a catback will justify the $$
I found the crate mufflers on Borla's website but they state that they are vehicle specific and not universal. I did not see any ram applications but I could of missed it. Ill have to send Borla and email to clarify. Wonder if the XS Pro is comparable in sound to the touring or S-Type
Anyone...
Ya that is what I figured that catback was more for sound/appearance. Might just swap out the muffler and call it a day. I have been searching for a borla muffler but cant seem to find them by themselves.
Do catback systems have/give any performance boosts without a tune? Coming from tuner cars you would need a tune to see any benefits, I dont want to drop a bunch of money on a system just for sound.
I'm currently looking at Borla S-type system.
Are there any bigger tires that aren't E load? looking at 275/60/20 but would like to go slightly bigger but there only seems to be E load tires and I don't want to add the extra weight for no reason, plus the extra cost.
Looks nice doesn’t seem to much wheel well space but you could definitely fit a bigger tire in there.
Any ride quality issues? Thinking of doing UCA and either 2/2.5 in front or 1.5 rear
I plan to tackle this task in the near future and don't know if its worth it if I stay at or under 2". Would going 1.5 R and 2 F even make a difference?
Wrap will probably last longer and depending on your skills with a rattle can look better than PD. also look into hyperdip its supposedly looks better than PD and last longer. I'm going to attempt to black out my badges with it.
