Maybe it’s too soon to say, but I’ve put on bilsteins, Mopar UCAs, new wheels and tires, and I haven’t heard the noise since. I wouldn’t claim it to be fixed, but something has changed enough to mask the problem for now. In the meantime, guess I’ll wait for the recall.
I would ask a...
After waiting 2 and a half months for my bilsteins to come in, a week for Mopar upper control arms, and another week to wait for the dealer to do some repair work, I finally have my wheel set up on and it was well worth the wait!

Cool. I still have yet to hear from my case manager. I’ll bring it up. I’m just ecstatic to have my problem documented. I guess it would be nice to have it actually fixed... My dealer has me setting the bar that low.
Thought I’d give an update to my situation. I took RamCares up on the offer to be a liaison between me and my dealer. Night and day difference. As I said before, had my truck at the dealer for the rubbing noise 3 times prior and they never replicated the issue. Today the technician was able to...
Oh wow, I wouldn’t have even imagined that being a possibility. That sucks. Hopefully I don’t come across that. Those stock bulbs are in a landfill by now....
Got it on amazon. The brand was flyingchan. 21.99. It claimed to be fingerprint resistant. It definitely helps but not fully resistant. It fits well and the bubbles smoothed out easily. No glare and doesn’t seem to scratch so I’m happy with it for the price.
It’s Permatex adhesive silicone I got from autozone. After hearing about people having issues with leaking from the 3rd brake light, I decided to take a precaution and seal it up. It’s like $9 or so with tax.
Thank you! YouTube, help from friends, and this forum has helped me do things I...
- Lasfit LEDs for the rear cargo lights and third brake light. Was temporarily blinded but permanently satisfied.
- added a screen protector
- also purchased and installed the rebel applique that goes on top of the grille. I had originally painted my chrome one to satin black but it’s...
I had a couple projects over the weekend.
First, I jumped on board the Lasfit LED upgrades.
This is the set for the cargo bed light and the third brake light. For anyone wondering, the LED type is T15 and of course a red T15 for the third brake light. Extremely easy install with 4 screws...
It’s been a bit since an update. I’ve just been waiting on my bilsteins to come in. Finally got word that they’re in after literally 2 months and I’m scheduled to go in on Tuesday. I’m extremely excited as I think the wheel set up will tie everything together.
Coincidentally, my tires came in...
I’ve been having the same issue and have looked at different threads on this forum and it’s really hard to really figure out what’s going on. A user posted a few videos that describes my problem so it helps to get on the same page. These are the videos.
A lot of people have said that...
I have the exact same tire size I’m about to put on mine so it’s cool to get an idea of what it’ll look like. Looks great. Not too stuffed and not too much space. Never knew about the ECU thing. Did the dealer calibrate it? Does that also account for mileage and speedometer issue with bigger tires?
Oops I usually put the prices in there. $650 plus tax. I figured it must have been a frustrating job. The shop said they’d have it done in 4 hrs, called at 1pm saying it’s taking longer than expected, finally had it finished at 5. An hour before closing. And I dropped it off at 9am.
Thank you! Wow, I like what you’ve done. The tonneau cover, shield, headlights, stripes, everything. Truly unique. And major props for pulling off the rocker panels yourself. The black really pops on the silver of these trucks!
I’ve been waiting a month and a half for my bilsteins to come in to start my wheel set up, so ironically, the first thing I wanted to do is going to end up being one of the last things I do.
While I wait for it all, I’m expecting my wheels to sit outside the flares about an inch or less so I...
