The most common cause of a CEL is a loose gas cap. Check the code, but if it looks like evap, then reseat the cap and clear the code to see if it returns.

Chrome polish works well, and you can use it conjunction with a scrubby green pad like those on a kitchen sponge. In fact I use an old sponge and toss when done.

You might want to pull the fuse until you can get them to figure it out. The board system itself can’t be that complicated, but not sure what tells the boards the door position. Is it a jamb switch or some computer module?

I don’t think LKA is meant to operate like Autopilot. It is just there in case you happen to drift into the adjacent lane. At least that is the sense I get.
