Thank you! Ordered both WeatherTech bump step and TomWorks Pin. I already installed deployment bed step but I think it is nice to have this bump step to protect rear bumper.
Wow, this is great to know. "fly & drive" definitely adds the cost. Mind sharing the shipping cost and what kind of transportation service Mark has arranged for you? Thanks!
For remote dealers, do we have to "fly & drive"? Do you know any dealers provide remote signing and truck transportation service so we can receive the truck at home? Thanks!
Seattle and its surrounding cities have been known to not easy to negotiate good deal with almost any car dealers there in addition to the highest sales tax plus RTA tax. You either need to travel north or south to get better deals there.
Thanks for sharing! Looks like 2021 RAM 1500 has slightli different layout underneath. Do you know how to disconnect that black electric connector? I took a picture here. There are two bolts pre-installed. But I need to disconnect black hardness first to mount the bed step.
I tried to install OEM Mopar bed step on my 2021 RAM 1500. And it looks like my truck layout is slightly different from what manual says. I attached picture here. The red/yellow harness in the installation manual is actually moved up and now I have a black hardness in place. And I need to...
When you place the order, you lock the sale price and your final price is to minus whatever rebates/incentives available upon pickup from your sale price. Plus you get whatever financing deals if available or combinable. Most of dealers are not willing to re-negotiate another lower sale price...
I found for the same or similar configuration, using 2021 Limited as example, Ford F-150 is more expensive than RAM 1500 and Ford F-150 is definitely much more difficult to negoiate a deal.
I just realized truck cap is much more heavier(and more expensive as well) than a truck cover. A truck cap could easily go over 200lbs while aluminum truck cover like MX4 is just around 60lbs. And that also means a truck cap eats away not-small portion of your truck payload. Glad I chose MX4 :)
