Yeah I’m just going to fork up the extra money and get the 6112’s now I’m debating 34 or 35 inch tires. Either will fit but I’m thinking about ride and fuel mileage and looks. So many choices. Either way I’m pulling the trigger in the next couple of weeks and ordering all the goodies

But now I think I’ve talked myself into the 6112 because of ride quality......

Yeah so the chart is confusing for us ORP guys. Basically since you are removing the ORP which is how the 1inch factory lift is achieved you are losing that 1inch. if you put the 6112 maxed out on a non ORP truck you would gain somewhere between 2.75 and 3 inches of lift, If you have an ORP...

Obviously it’s your choice but being in the automotive world my entire life, I would recommend you keep the boots on. All it takes is one rock from the road to nick the shock rod and the rod will cut your seal and cause a leak. the only downside to boots is if you are constantly in deep mud...

Ha, I work at an automotive dealer and have all the equipment to do it..... and it’s still tempting just to pay the extra.

So for front shocks, the difference in the 6112 and the 5100 is the diameter and the internals of the shock. The 6112 is a better performing shock then the 5100, it cost more too. The 6112 shocks also come with its own coil springs as where the 5100 uses the stock Springs. You can basically...

Anticipating sucks. Let me know when you get the tires on and how it rides then. What tire are you going with?

How’s the ride? And did you add bigger tires yet? I have the ORP so the 6112 in the front should give me 2 inches more of lift, according to bilstein chart. Which should level me. I’m thinking about the icon springs on the rear too which would give me a .5 inch rake with rear higher. Which I’m...

Looking more and more like I’m going with the 6112’s up front. Hate to spend extra money when I don’t do any real off-roading but I’m tired of waiting and the 6112 is probably a better riding shock anyway. Anybody have the 6112’s?

Anybody know when Bilsteins 5100 adjustable front shocks will be available again. Really want Bilstein because of the 0-2 inch rear shock option but I’m tired of waiting. Might just go with eibach and be done. I’ve tried tons of online retailers, none have them. Any ideas of timeline or know of...
