What ya'll got? Seems like this truck color isnt too popular in the aftermarket wheel pictures I've searched. I was shopping for a black truck but this one was the best deal at the time so billet silver it is.
Lift and 35's going on soon, debating on whether to get wheels also or do 'covert'...
can anyone point me to a alfaOBD Windows version for dummies tutorial? I don't have android gear, jsut windows laptop. Seems everyone uses an android phone or tablet which i don't have.
Struggling with this after tinkering for over an hour. I was able to figure out how to raise the temp to...
I just installed Lasfit bulbs in the cargo bed lights, good little upgrade. Going to try the fog lights next.
I also bought the bulbs for the reverse lights but, because I'm a numnutz, I didn't realize you couldn't change out the current LEDs back there. My 2023 Big Horn has the LED rears...
I'm slowly gathering what I need for this. It is an absolute must have, been walking up and trying to get into my truck for 3 months the same way I have been my other FCA cars for 10 years only to go, 'ah ****'.
Harnesses coming in soon, still need to order the hardware parts.
One question...
No knock on infotainment, I can see the appeal for some for the "easy" obd program but I also want to be able to do other things with the alfaobd.
Anyhow, I sent jimmy a pm for wires. :)
So is this just basically a bundle with the two door harnesses (which can be sourced from Jimmy), bypass wires, and an alfaOBD (which can be sourced on Amazon)?
ETA - i did like the install video, well put together I thought.
Thanks! So, as I understand it, this setup gives you that great looking 3.5" height with the added benefit of the Bilstein shocks which are not only a general improvement over stock but you also get improved reliability b/c they're not as "stretched" as stock would be. Is that about right?
Thanks sir, that's good feedback. I'm a little gun shy on going too high so 3.5 really seems to be where I want to land, especially for my use (mostly street, some parking garages occasionally). I'm going to look more into the Readylift/Bilstein combo.
Keep up this great thread, it's been...
Sorry, can't help but might be worth calling that dealer and asking for details (disregard if you've done that). I'm no expert but that looks a bit lower than a 4" lift to me.
good luck!
Hey Biggiehorn, I saw your post in the suspension thread back in 2022 where you shared your thoughts on the Readylift SST. You commented that it's good/good value but you might have gone with something a bit more "premium" in retrospect.
If you were going to redo it today and still stay at...
Installed rear under seat storage by Datin Metal Fabrication. Sacrifices a bit of storage space but doesnt not interfere with the rubber mats and allows for heels to go slight under the seat for passenger comfort. Has some slotted molle type holes for attaching stuff.
looking at these for both my RAM and the wife's car.
did you do the rear camera? Fitcamx website doesn't have pictures of the rear and I'm curious how it installs given the rear center window slides open.
Awesome thread, your truck is spot on. Definitely a few upgrades that I'll be looking to add, love the front grille light pods set up in particular. Let there be light!
just picked up the truck. Amp Research running boards and override switch were first as my wife is 5'1". And the bed was bare so got a spray in liner and added the OEM cargo rails.
