If they’re mounted like any other running board they shouldn’t be in the way…but i dont have them so I’m not sure where or what they cover when they fold up. I think if nothing else you would just need to locate where the power wire runs and make sure it has enough slack to allow you to lift up...
The fella in the video said they changed them all after 2021 or so. I have a 23 so i assume i already have the current upper mounts 🤷♂️ im not positive My issues is related to the body mounts, but I’m becoming more suspect. My truck was in an accident and while it was being repaired, the frame...
It seems like replacing the lower mounts is an easy job. Correct me if I’m wrong but you should be able to just take out the bolt..The lower mount should come out with it. Put the new one in and bolt it up. Tighten it to 90 ft/lbs of torque and then you should be good to go? Is there locktite on...
I read elsewhere on this form that the body mounts are 90 ft/lbs if you want to and are able to double check them yourself. My clunk came back today at the magic 30° ambient temperature so I’m going to check mine tomorrow.
I learned years ago to record issues on my phone and have it available for the service center. That way if/when they cant replicate it i have proof. Its saved me twice over the last ten years or so.
When msrp drops, the value of existing vehicles also drops…lowering trade in value. There are plenty of folks who finance close to, if not, full price of their truck…and make the choice to do that for various reasons (regardless of if its a good choice or not). Its like you when there are more...
Funny enough the tread pattern of the Firestones being so similar to the Bridgestone Dueler AT tires that came on my Jeep originally is what drew me to them. Absolutely loved the oem duelers but they never made it past 25k or so miles…so about a year of driving for me.🤦♂️
The tires in your...
I would pay extra for a set of michelins with a cool looking sidewall haha
I had a set of continental terrain contact ATs and returned them after a couple hundred miles…only tire ive ever returned used. They were awful in rain and felt like my jeep was driving against resistance the entire...
$ for $ i think the michelins will be the better buy. They have more tread life and a better warranty. Downside…they definitely don’t look as cool. If mpg isnt your PRIMARY concern…the Firestones look the part (IMO) and will still give a quiet ride and great mpg.
Both tires did everything ive...
She pulls it with a Honda Ridgeline haha it pulls well for her w/o sway on just a ball. Honda says not to use a wdh in the owners manual…but I may end up putting together a ball + sway control setup for her at some point.

Here is a thread of what I went through when this just happened to me a week or so ago. After completely disassembling the door it seems like it was probably related to a...
