Yeah, I remember reading about the bent frames. Hard to tell how much of that was design flaw or customer taking the truck beyond designed limits. I’m sure the Raptor can handle all four wheels going airborne, but not fifteen feet in the air.
The TRX will be faster and better looking. It has...
Good points, but the Raptor sales have already established the demand for the truck market. Early adopters usually take a bath in their losses, “pioneers perish, settlers flourish”.
FCA can and will charge an outrageous price for the TRX and they will sell a lot of them. When sales slow, the...
Very well said.
People keep forgetting - car companies are going to make the things people actually buy. The rest of those industry predictions be damned. People like big burly engines. The percentage of people buying electric cars is minuscule, always has been. They are a very vocal, if not...
What changed and when?
The prevailing rumor (and the “q3 2020” screen shot leak) was a 2021 model year and a 2020 production release. The word “still” does not normally apply to a change in information, especially something as significant as a one year further delay. 2021 as a 2022 model year...
From what I understand, Raptors don’t last long on lots and thought I saw that at one point, Rebel was the best selling trim, but I have no insight to the reliability of that claim.
I don’t like it. The turbo six may be sufficient for some needs, but a truck with a 426 Hemi is what people want.
The only upside I can imagine with this news is that if there is no TR, the TRX is going to have to be price competitive with the Raptor. An Autotrader.com search shows you can buy...
Hmmm . . . sounds like somebody could be in violation of a trademark. A member of my Facebook group was advertising Rebel hoodies and when I ask d about the protected imagery, he mentioned that he was using a different outline to avoid infringement. But I know little of such things

I get the impression they are cracking down on the leak sources. The Hellephant was well hidden (I don't recall hearing so much as a murmur about it until the official teasers came out) and the production TRX would be near impossible to hide, but they seem to be doing well with the secrecy...
I am certainly not averse to speculation (though I am so frequently wrong I wonder why I bother), so here goes.
Many moons ago Ram executive Jim Morrison stated their goal was to be the off road leader. RRB mentioned a Rebel sub-brand. So, there you go with the suspension focus. The Rebel...
My advice is to get out of the Raptor sooner rather than later. I understand it's a great truck and I don't doubt that in the least, but with the arrival of the TRX, the Raptor goes from King of the Hill (by virtue of being the only one on it) to dead last (even if a close second).
No one can...
TRX IS a Rebel. ;)
No need to wait - buy now and trade up. The TRX will be out of range of many a Rebel buyer, so the Rebel should hold it's value well.
Have a link to that article? That would be quite the surprise. I suspect that if it were six months out, we'd know a lot more about it by now. Consistent and reliable rumors appear to have quorum and consensus on a 2020 arrival. Still many unknowns, but all indications are it is still more...

'Ram also promises attendees a few surprises to be announced on Thursday, Sept. 27, and certain to make every truck shopper's "must see" list.'
