Just an FYI for anyone looking to buy now: you are not currently going to be able to get close to matching any of the deals that you are seeing from purchase dates between June 1 and July 1 on Laramie, Longhorn, or Limiteds. Those prices were part of a 15% across the board rebate on all Ram 1500s.
Read up in this thread @Ssimmons07 . There's a number of wind noises referenced, but post #71 is what you are getting. Seems to be a problem that more than just you are having, and there is a fix referenced somewhere amongst the mishmash of posts...
Interesting. So if I'm interpreting this correctly, the STAR case that resolved your issue said that the label itself of 515 grams (1.13 lb) was incorrect, and the proper label and fill should be 567 grams (1.25 lb).
My sticker reads 510 grams (1.125 lb). I could see how 1.125 lb and 1.25...
Thanks. There was probably a more efficient way to do it. I used the two bucket method, which really was no more work than using one bucket in my opinion. I didn't get crazy with it, but the rinse bucket water was definately much nastier than the soap water. Main problem I ran into was after...
Haha. After writing it, I really liked how it could be interpreted in both directions!
Agree. It was hard to tell in the dark how much shine I was getting. The tires were the last thing I did. I also wasn't sure exactly what to use. For better or worse, I sprayed them with 303 protectant...
If you don't mind, how much does something like this cost? I've never had any type of aftermarket tint installed. For whatever reason, I've always just considered it a cosmetic thing and hadn't considered heat gain/loss implications.
That's a perfect description of the sound, actually! I was kind of disappointed that the one instance I took the time to record it, it was actually pretty mellow. I got a good rendition today of a series of multiple squirts and squeals at different pitches.
All that aside, I'm not sure if I...
It's been 3 weeks now since I brought my new pride and joy home. I've never had anything in my life close to as nice. I mean that; and I'm married with 3 kids. That being said, after keeping tabs on these forums for the same amount of time, I was pretty certain child protective services was...
@XDBrad @A10 @Netmaster @Fidomac This post had a mishmash of wind noises going on but eventually focused in on what I believe you all are probably dealing with if you want to take the time to sift through it. Reply #71 gives an example...
That's absolutely ridiculous. I can take pictures of manual and send to you if you want to check it out before hand. Hell I can even mail you one since I now have 2 lol.
Y'all have some pretty nice boats. But I can't help but notice everybody is only towing one at a time. I opt to really make my Ram earn it's keep and tow (coughhaulcough) two at a time.
Oh for sure. Literally could not be easier. Three clamps on either side to put rails/cleats (whatever you call them) in. Hand place a drainage tube at either side towards cab. Two screws on either clasp to retract to. One sealant strip along bed width at the cab. From there it literally...
Haven't had rain yet with Mopar hard trifold, but I'm happy with it so far. Super easy to install, defacto locks with tailgate up (no wiggle/ ability to shimmy it open), can open and close tailgate with it on and closed fully, very simple and quick to install/uninstall, sits flush to cab with...
Interesting. Here is my window sticker, same patriot blue with V8, sport appearance and level 1 equipment. Your base price is slightly higher, so I'm thinking maybe you have a newer build date? I've got the wheels you want; came with the same package you have listed. I do like them better...
You don't happen to be dealing with AutoNation North Richland Hills do you? Worst experience I had looking for my truck was with almost this exact story.
It's not really a rug, just feels like it. It is actually made of a plastic. I had mine in for a week before getting the tonneau cover. Had a 30 minute downpour. About 40 minutes in sun and it was bone dry. A couple of the benefits of it over a bed liner is that the underside won't scratch...
