Do you happen to have pics of how the clamps clear the divider rails? I’ve got the divider already and still on the fence of what bed cover to get... and the divider is my big hangup. I don’t want to modify things if I don’t have to lol.
Bring it back and complain to the service manager... most likely the tech doesn’t have all the information and isn’t paying attention that the noise happens even without shifting the transfer case. He probably thinks your hitting the button and complaining about the noise.
Transfer case only shifts if your changing the gears in it... if it’s doing it in 2wd or any other gear without you changing it then it’s not the transfer case

Cost. That means the new one will finance for a lot more making your...
Yes it’s normal and the answer why is simple... it’s the exact same switch on both sides. In order to save money making and stocking two identical switches with different printing on the face they just use the same one on both sides. Saves a few cents on the cost to build them.
This is one of the main reasons I haven’t done this... let us know how it goes. If it works I’ll try and find a premade block off plug and do the same.
A lot of manufacturers don’t design for people to add things to their vehicles. Therefore they don’t Mark things like that. Some do so as a point for jump starting but that’s it.
He alludes to driving it much rougher before they started filming... complains about how heavy the front end is and how people knew what happened earlier. I think he probably did something stupid and didn’t release the video.
