I played the warranty game as well. As soon as I hit 60K, I switched from PUP 5W20 to PUP 5w30. Been running lubegard since about 20K. I'm at 67K now.
No lifter/cam issue but I have the exhaust leak.
Sorry I misunderstood. No I did not. They were good to go. I just cleaned them. The drain plug still had some type of thread lock on it and it tightened up good.
Finally did the rear diff with Amsoil and Mopar friction modifier at 66K.
The old stuff looked pretty good. I added the entire bottle of modifier first and then the amsoil even though amsoil says it has the modifier. Didn't feel like playing games. It took just over 2 bags with a full 4 oz...
I have both sets. I'm going with the remflexes first. They're thick and will definitely be able to compensate for some warping.
I'll use the OEMs as back up for the future but I'm betting I won't need them.
I just purchased the passenger side kit for $65 plus $20 shipping.
Kit includes everything in figure 1. I did order remflex gaskets which I will use instead of the OEM.
Good luck!
I dont have a bug deflector. I think they look cool and go well with the window visors. I do have EGR in channel window visors. I'm currently debating on the weathertech stone and bug deflector or the egr.
