I agree it looks like a body bolt of some sort. I had to remove one when I installed me nerf bars. My bars mounted to the factory studs as well as the body bolt. It's been 3 years but mine did not have that thingamajiggy.
Same here. I add lubegard every change. Makes me warm and fuzzy inside every oil change like my lifters are indestructible! Haven't looked back.
I always say good morning to my lifters and cam as well.
Too much tech with these modern vehicles. The technicians and engineers can't even figure this stuff out.
I've been fortunate enough to have no issues since I drove off the lot in August 2020 except a cracked passenger manifold.
You guys have every right to be upset. I would be.
Do you...
I'm gonna have to dig her up. Trying to get my builder to lend a hand since I'm under warranty and the house is only 2 yrs old. We'll see. I'm sure they'll blame it on some crap! Lol
Thanks again for the replies.
Do some research. They have made good on leaking windows and brake lights although I know some have leaked again.
Rust is tough to get covered. I have none and I live by the beach. Some of the other stuff does suck but all manufacturers have issues.
I now see the difference in the Pinnacle. Mine actually bend all the way in and tuck under the truck. The Pinnacles don't but not sure why yours are noisy.
Hope you figure it out.
I have 4 inch Barricade ovals. No noise issues so I'm curious. Mine bend under and mount to the body bolts as well as the factory installed studs.
These are mine...
Thank goodness for forums and knowledgeable members. It's amazing how many people out there are towing without a clue. Keep your distance.
Good luck OP!
I'm pretty sure it's normal because your tires are spinning at different rates and theyre locked. I get something similar in 4 lo when turning. It's just not something I'm used to.
I use 4 auto often. 4 hi rarely, and never used 4 lo in practice.
I could be wrong on the noise.
I'm about to fix mine. Got the passenger side kit for $65 plus $20 shipping.
Started leaking at about 64K. Just my luck. Never been to a dealer so no relationship in place. Never had a warranty issue and I do regular maintenance myself.
I also got the remflex gaskets.
